Ամերիկացի ռեժիսոր Քրիստոֆեր Չամբերսի` Հայաստանի եւ հայերի մասին պատմող «Արամ, Արամ» ֆիլմին եւ դրա հաջողություններին բազմիցս անդրադարձել ենք: Մեզ համար հատկանշական էր ոչ միայն այն փաստը, որ ֆիլմը բուռն արձագանքների է արժանացել ամերիկյան լսարանի կողմից, այլեւ այն, որ աշնանը կայացած Գլենդելի միջազգային կինոփառատոնի շրջանակներում ֆիմի գլխավոր դերակատար` հայտնի եւ սիրված հայ դերասան Լեւոն Շարաֆյանը հաղթեց «Լավագույն դերասան» անվանակարգում:

Իր ակնկալիքների եւ տպավորությունների մասին դերասանը կիսվեց NEWS,am STYLE-ի հետ.

«Նախ՝ դա ինձ համար շատ հաճելի անակնկալ էր: Ոչ մի բան չէի սպասում, քանի որ ինձ հետ նույն նոմինացիայի մեջ էին երկու ամերիկացի եւ մեկ մեքսիկ դերասան: Հետո երբ ես ստացա այս պատվավոր մրցանակը, նախագահը հայտնեց, որ ես առաջին հայ դերասանն եմ, որը հաղթել եմ այս մրցանակաբաշխության «Լավագույն դերասան» անվանակարգում: Դա շատ հաճելի էր ինձ համար»,-ընդգծեց դերասանը:

«Արամ, Արամ» ֆիլմն առաջին անգամ ցուցադրվել է Լոս Անջելեսի կինոփառատոնի ժամանակ: Ֆիլմում բոլորին տպավորել է հատկապես Լեւոն Շարաֆյանի եւ նրա կրտսեր խաղընկերոջ՝ 12-ամյա Ջոն Սեւակ Ռուհինյանի խաղը:

Ֆիլմը ցուցադրվել է նաեւ Մոնրեալի, Երեւանի, Սիդնեյի եւ այլ քաղաքների կինոփառատոնների ընթացքում:
