Իրավապաշտպան մի խումբ կազմակերպություններ, ադրբեջանական համայնքի ներկայացուցիչներ և առնվազն ութ հրեական կազմակերպություններ դեկտեմբերի 14-ին Վաշինգտոնում կհավաքվեն Դոնալդ Թրամփին պատկանող Tramp International Hotel հյուրանոցի դիմաց: Նրանք մտադիր են իրենց դժգոհությունը հայտնել հյուրանոցում հրեական Հանուկան տոնելու կապակցությամբ, որի ֆինանսավորումը մասամբ իրականացնում է Ադրբեջանի կառավարությունը: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին տեղեկացնում է «Ազատություն» ռադիոկայանի ադրբեջանական ծառայությունը:

Միացյալ Նահանգների նախագահի ընտրություններում Թրամփի հաղթելուց հետո Ադրբեջանը Բահրեյնից հետո դարձել է երկրորդ օտարերկրյա պետությունը, որը այդ հյուրանոցում միջոցառում է իրականացնում, ինչը վերլուծաբանները գնահատում են որպես շահերի պոտենցիալ բախում:

Ադրբեջանի դեսպանատունը հրաժարվել է պատասխանել, թե ինչու և որքան է վճարել մասնավոր միջոցառման կազմակերպման համար: Սակայն որոշ հրավիրյալներ ադրբեջանական «Թուրան» գործակալությանը հայտնել են, որ երեկույթը տեղի է ունենալու «Նախագահական սրահում», որի վարձը կազմում է ոչ պակաս, քան 120 հազար ԱՄՆ դոլարը:

Դեկտեմբերի 14-ին կազմակերպվող բողոք ակցիայի պատճառը միայն այն չէ, որ միջոցառումը կազմակերպվում է Թրամփի հյուրանոցում: Ակցիայի կազմակերպիչներից մեկը հարցադրում է արել, թե «ինչու մուսուլման երկիրը, որը մարդու իրավունքների ոլորտում բացասական ցուցանիշներ ունի, անցկացնում է Հանուկան»:

«Ադրբեջանը հանդուրժող է իր տարածքում գտնվող հրեաների նկատմամբ, սակայն դա պատճառ չէ` արդարացնելու երկրում բռնատիրական ռեժիմը, մարդու իրավունքների խախտումները»,- նշել է նա:

Մեկ այլ մասնակից ասել է. «Ադրբեջանական համայնքի, ինչպես նաև իրավապաշտպան վաշինգտոնյան խմբերի համար այսօրվա միջոցառումը հնարավորություն է` ուշադրություն գրավելու Ադրբեջանում քաղաքացիական հասարակության և մարդու իրավունքների նկատմամբ բռնությունների վրա»:

Բողոքի ակցիայի կազմակերպիչը հայտարարել է, որ Թրամփի հյուրանոցի դիմաց հավաքվելով` իրենք պահանջելու են Ադրբեջաննի կառավարությունից անմիջապես ազատ արձակել բոլոր քաղբանտարկյալներին և պաշտպանել երկրում մարդու իրավունքները:
