Наверное, нет в мире людей, которым были бы совсем неинтересны детективы. Ведь помимо захватывающего сюжета это еще и прекрасная возможность проверить свои умственные способности: каждому хотелось угадать, кто на самом деле окажется преступником!

Сегодня мы предлагаем тебе очередную детективную загадку из цикла про инспектора Варнике. На этот раз тебя ждет новогоднее дело!

Инспектор Варнике дежурил на новогодние праздники и утром первого января отправился на вызов. Он позвонил, и спустя минуту дверь открыл заспанный хозяин квартиры. Инспектор представился и сказал:

— Я вынужден тщательно осмотреть вашу квартиру. Ваш сосед утверждает, что вчера, в новогоднюю ночь, пришел к вам гости. И пока он вместе с вашей семьей распевал песни под вашей елкой, сверкающей разноцветными лампочками, вы проникли в его квартиру и похитили ряд ценных вещей.

На это хозяин квартиры ответил:

— Это неправда! Мы вообще всей семьей встречали Новый год у друзей. Мы отправились к ним еще в обед, я даже едва успел нарядить елку дома перед уходом. Мы вернулись далеко за полночь и сразу легли спать. Если хотите, я разбужу жену и сына и они подтвердят мои слова...

— Мне кажется, в этом нет надобности, — перебил его Варнике. — Для меня уже очевидно, что ваш сосед — лжец!

Вопрос: Так почему же инспектор решил, что сосед оклеветал этого гражданина?

 

Ну что, догадался, почему инспектор сделал такой вывод? Тогда сверяй свой ответ с правильным!

Ответ: В елочной гирлянде не хватает одной лампочки, а без нее украшение не будет светиться. Хозяин действительно впопыхах наряжал елку перед уходом и не проверил исправность гирлянды. Сосед же не мог этого знать и наврал, что пел песни под сверкающей разноцветными лампочками елкой.
