 Բրյուսելում կայացած ԵՄ Արևելյան գործընկերության (ԱլԳ) ավագ պաշտոնյաների տարեկան հանդիպմանը մասնակցել են գործընկեր վեց երկրների և ԵՄ բոլոր անդամ պետությունների ներկայացուցիչները։ Ինչպես տեղեկանում ենք ՀՀ ԱԳՆ մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ամենամյա այս քննարկումներին Հայաստանի պատվիրակությունը գլխավորում էր ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարարի տեղակալ Կարեն Նազարյանը:

Հանդիպման նպատակն էր քննության առնել ԱլԳ շրջանակներում ընթացող բազմակողմ համագործակցությունը, ինչպես նաև 2017թ-ի գագաթաժողովին ընդառաջ մասնակիցների հնարավոր սպասելիքներն ու մոտեցումները:

ԱԳ նախարարի տեղակալն իր ելույթում անդրադարձել է Երևանում նոյեմբերին կայացած ԱլԳ նախարարական ոչ պաշտոնական երկխոսության արդյունքներին, խոսել ՀՀ-ԵՄ նոր շրջանակային համաձայնագրի բանակցային գործընթացի մասին՝ նշելով, որ 2017 թ-ին գործընթացը կմտնի ավարտական փուլ:

Կարեն Նազարյանը խոսել է նաև ԵՄ հետ շարունակվող ոլորտային երկխոսության մասին՝ ընդգծելով, որ այն հանդիսանում է ԱլԳ շրջանակներում համագործակցության անկյունաքարերից մեկը։ Նա երախտագիտություն է հայտնել ԵՄ անդամ երկրներին՝ վերջերս ԵՄ Խորհրդի կողմից Հայաստանի հետ ընդհանուր ավիացիոն գոտու շուրջ բանակցությունների մեկնարկի Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովի մանդատը հաստատելու որոշման կապակցությամբ և հավելել, որ դեպի ծով ելք չունեցող և շրջափակման մեջ գտնվող երկրի համար մեծապես կարևորվում է նման համաձայնագրի նշանակությունը, մասնավորապես, գործարար շփումների խրախուսման ու առևտրատնտեսական փոխանակումների ընդլանման տեսանկյունից։

Անդրադառնալով ԵՄ-ի հետ վիզաների դյուրացման ու հետընդունման համաձայնագրերին՝ Կարեն Նազարյանը ողջունել է Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովի կողմից նախորդ ամսին արված հայտարարությունը, որով վերահաստատվում էր Հայաստանի հետ վիզաների ազատականացման երկխոսությունը սկսելու որոշումը:

Իր ելույթում փոխնախարար Նազարյանն անդրադարձել է նաև ԵՄ հետ ներկայումս քննարկվող այլ հարցերին:

Ավագ պաշտոնյաների հանդիպմանը հաջորդել է ԱլԳ երկրների պատվիրակությունների ղեկավարների աշխատանքային հանդիպումն Արտաքին գործերի եվրոպական ծառայության գլխավոր քարտուղարի տեղակալ Պեդրո Սերանոյի հետ:
