Երևանի  Կենտրոն վարչական շրջանը և Երևան քաղաքի Կենտրոնի զինվորական կոմիսարիատը դեկտեմբերի 21-ին համատեղ կազմակերպել էին մեծարման միջոցառում «Լավագույն զինվորի» կոչմանն արժանացած կենտրոնաբնակ զինծառայող Դավիթ Շահբազյանի պատվին:

Այս մասին տեղեկացրին Կենտրոն վարչական շրջանից՝ հավելելով. «Կենտրոն վարչական շրջանի ղեկավար Արա Սադոյանը պատվոգիր է հանձնել Ապրիլյան պատերազմի օրերին մարտական գործողությունների ժամանակ աչքի ընկած Դավիթ Շահբազյանին և նշել.
 
«Դավիթը Ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմի օրերին զոհված հերոս տղաների՝ Սասուն Մկրտչյանի և Ադամ Սահակյանի գործի ազնիվ շարունակողն է: Նա անպարտ, հայրենասեր, ուժեղ և պատվախնդիր զինվորականի օրինակ է բոլորի համար»:

Միջոցառումը ուղեկցվել է երաժշտական համարներով, երախտագիտության և քաջալերանքի բազմաթիվ խոսքերով: Հայ զինվորին և հայոց բանակի նվիրյալներին նվիրված միջոցառմանը ներկա են գտնվել զորամասի հրամանատար, փոխգնդապետ Վարդան Վարդանյանը, անձնակազմի գծով տեղակալ, մայոր Կարեն Քիքանյանը, վաշտի հրամանատար կապիտան Ավագ Վարդայնանը, «Կենտրոն» տարածքի զինկոմ գնդապետ Սերոբ Արմենակյանը, Կենտրոն տարածքի զինկոմի տեղակալ Սեդրակ Կիրակոսյանը, Երևանի Կենտրոն վարչական շրջանի ղեկավարի աշխատակզմի գլխավոր մասնագետ Հարություն Բալյանը, Երևանի թիվ 1 հիմնակ ան և թիվ 29 ավագ դպրոցների տնօրեններ Կարինե Սաքանյանը և Ռուզաննա Սարուխանյանը, նույն դպրոցների զինղեկները, սաները և Դավիթ Շահբազյանի ծնողները: Հերոս զինվորական կրթելու և դաստիարակելու համար դպրոցի տնօրեններն ու զինղեկները ստացել են շնորհակալագրեր: Ծառայության ընթացքում բազմաթիվ պարգևների արժանացած Դավիթ Շահբազյանի համար անակնկալը ստացված էր, հույզերն ու տպավորությունները դրական»:
