Որքան էլ մեր հանրության և քաղաքական դաշտի մի հատվածը դժգոհեց, արտահայտվեց, փորձեց ինչ-որ կերպ դիմակայել, միևնույն է՝ Սերժ Սարգսյանն արեց այն, ինչ մտադրվել էր՝ ստորագրեց Հայաստանի ԵՏՄ-ին անդամակցության պայմանագիրը: Ընդ որում, պայմանագրի ստորագրման այսքան ուշացումը նույնպես Սերժ Սարգսյանի օգտին եղավ, քանի որ այս ընթացքում հանրության ու քաղաքական դաշտի այդ նույն դժգոհ հատվածի մի մասն էլ հարմարվեց այդ մտքի հետ կամ էլ հարմար գտավ, որ պետք է հարմարվել անշրջելի գործընթացներին: Եթե այս գործոնը ուղղակի համընկավ և աշխատեց ի օգուտ գործող նախագահի, ապա մեկ այլ գործոն, ըստ ինձ, ոչ թե պատահական համընկում էր, այլ Սարգսյանի շախմատային մտածված քայլերից մեկը: Խոսքս վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանին ԱՄՆ «գործուղելու» մասին է, որով միաժամանակ լուծվեց մի քանի հարց, հղվեցին մի քանի մեսիջներ:
Առաջին մեսիջը, կարծում եմ, վերաբերում էր եռյակին և եռյակի կողմնակիցներին, ովքեր վերջին օրերին ամբողջ համացանցը ողողում էին «ռեժիմը խուճապի մեջ է» և նման արտահայտություններով: Եվ փաստորեն ինչ է ստացվում՝ «խուճապի մեջ գտնվող» ռեժիմի առաջին երեք դեմքերը հանրահավաքի օրը պարզապես բացակայում են երկրից, զբաղված են (հիշեցնեմ, որ ԱԺ նախագահ Գալուստ Սահակյանն էլ «գործուղվել» էր Վրաստան): Համենայն դեպս ես խուճապի նման դրսևորում երբեք չեմ տեսել, շատ տարօրինակ և յուրահատուկ «խուճապ» էր:
Երկրորդ մեսիջը և հարցը, որ լուծեց Սերժ Սարգսյանը, ավելի շատ զգուշավորության դրսևորում էր. նախագահը պարզապես գերադասեց հոկտեմբերի 10-ին վարչապետին հեռու պահել նրա խնամու հանրահավաքից՝ ամեն դեպքում զգուշանալով հնարավոր անկանխատեսելի զարգացումներից:
Եթե առաջին երկու մեսիջներն ուղղված էին միայն Հայաստանի հանրությանն ու քաղաքական ուժերին, ապա երրորդ՝ ամենակարևոր մեսիջն արդեն ուղղված էր միջազգային հանրությանը, և առաջին հերթին՝ ՌԴ իշխանություններին: Տեսեք ինչ է ստացվում՝ երկրի նախագահը Մինսկում ԵՏՄ-ին անդամակցելու պայմանագիր է ստորագրում, իսկ միևնույն ժամանակ երկրի վարչապետը Վաշինգտոնում մասնակցում է Համաշխարհային բանկի և Արժույթի միջազգային հիմնադրամի տարեկան լիագումար նիստին: Եվ կարևոր չէ, թե վարչապետը այդ նիստի բովանդակությունից այնքան է հասկանում, որքան ես՝ չինարենի քերականությունից, կարևորը այստեղ, ինչպես ասում են, մասնակցությունն է՝ և անպայման նույն օրը, տվյալ պահին: Իսկ այդ մասնակցության փաստով թե ռուսական կողմին և թե միջազգային հանրությանը Սարգսյանը հասկացրեց, որ թեպետ «և՝ և»-ի իր ծրագիրը չթողեցին իրականացնել, այնուամենայնիվ, Արևմուտքի հետ տարբեր ձևաչափերով համագործակցությունն ինքը շարունակում է և շարունակելու է, և որ Հայաստանն ընդունակ է միջազգային հարթակում իր սեփական խաղը տանել՝ պահպանելով հավասարակշռությունը:
Հուսամ, որ այս մեսիջները, հատկապես երրորդ մեսիջն իսկապես այդպես է ծրագրված եղել, այլ ոչ թե միայն իմ ենթադրությունն է, և որ հետագայում էլ Սերժ Սարգսյանն իր շախմատային մտածելակերպը գործի դնելով կկարողանա այնպես անել, որ տնտեսական նոր միության կազմում մենք մեզ գոնե նվաստացած չզգանք, իսկ օգտակարության կամ վնասակարության մասին խոսելը դեռ շուտ է:
