Թբիլիսիի Սուրբ Գևորգ առաջնորդանիստ եկեղեցում, Սուրբ Ստեփանոս նախավկայի և առաջին մարտիրոսի տոնը դեկտեմբերի 26-ին նշվել է Թեմակալ առաջնորդ Գերաշնորհ Տեր Վազգեն եպիսկոպոս Միրզախանյանի մատուցած Սուրբ և Անմահ Պատարագով:

Այս մասին տեղեկացրին Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցու Վիրահայոց թեմից՝ հավելելով. «Հընթացս Սուրբ Պատարագի, Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցում հաստատված ավանդույթի համաձայն, Ստեփանոսի բերկրառատ տոնի առիթով, կատարվել է սարկավագական ձեռնադրություն: Վերջին քսան տասրիների ընթացքում Սուրբ Գևորգ առաջնորդանիստ եկեղեցում այս արարողությունը կատարվեց առաջին անգամ:

Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց կաթողիկոսի օրհնությամբ, Վիրահայոց թեմի առաջնորդ Գերաշնորհ Տեր Վազգեն եպիսկոպոս Միրզախանյանի ձեռամբ կատարվեց Թբիլիսիի Սուրբ Գևորգ առաջնորդանիստ եկեղեցու Հովսեփ ուրարակիր Չիրախյանի, Գևորգ ուրարարակիր Անտոնյանի, Թբիլիսիի Սուրբ Էջմիածին եկեղեցու Օթար ուրարակիր Գիգաուրիի և Ախալքալաքի Սուրբ խաչ եկեղեցու Պետրոս դպիր Գասպարյանի սարկավագական ձեռնադրությունը, ովքեր Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց կաթողիկոսի օրհնությամբ, հաջողությամբ հանձնել էին սարկավագակա ն քննությունները:      Սրբազան Հայրը Ձեռնադրության Ս. խորհրդից հետո ներկայացրեց Ս. Ստեփանոսի տոնի իմաստը, նշելով, որ Հայ Եկեղեցին այսօր ոգեկոչում է Ընդհանրական Եկեղեցու առաջին նահատակ Ս. Ստեփանոսի հիշատակը, ով իր կենարար արյամբ Քրիստոսի Եկեղեցու հիմքերն ամրացրեց: Դիմելով նորընծաներին` Սրբազան Հայրը հորդորեց նրանց հետևելու Սուրբի մարտիրոսական, խորհրդավոր, հեզ ու մաքուր հոգևոր ծառայությանը, լավագույնս արժեւորել այն մեծագույն առաքելությունը, որին կոչվում են նրանք` դառնալու Քրիստոսի քաղցր լուծի կրողներ: Գերաշնորհ Սրբազանը կ արեւորեց այդ առաքելության իրագործումը սիրով ու հավատքով` իբրեւ Տիրոջն արժանի մշակներ:

Վիրահայոց թեմի առաջնորդն իր օրհնությունն ու հայրական պատգամը բերեց նորընծա սարկավագներին, իրենց ազնով պահվածքով, գիտելիքներով և ծառայությամբ իրապես փառավորելու Հայոց Եկեղեցու անունը:
   

Դեռևս դեկտեմբերի 25-ին`երեկոյան, Թեմակալ առաջնորդի հանդիսապետությամբ հատուկ արարողակարգով նախապես տեղի էր ունեցել կիսասարկավագության տվչության արարողությունը: Վիրահայոց թեմի 4 դպիրներ ստացել էին կիսասարկավագության աստիճան:

Տվչության և ձեռնադրության արարողություններին մասնակցում էին Վիրահայոց Թեմի Սամցխե-Ջավախքի ընդհանուր առաջնորդական փոխանորդ հգշ. Տեր Բաբգէն վարդապետ Սալբիյանը, Վիրահայոց թեմի առաջնորդի օգնական հգշ. Տեր Խորեն վարդապետ Հովհաննիսյանը, հոգևոր դասը:

Հավելենք, որ դեկտեմբերի 26-ին, Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում սարկավագական ձեռնադրության արժանացան ծննդով թբիլիսեցի Գևորգյան ճեմարանի սաներ Արտակ Անտոնյանը և Եղիշե Հարությունյանը»։
