Այսօր հրավիրված ասուլիսում թուրքագետ Ռուբեն Սաֆրաստյանը, խոսելով հայ-թուրքական հարաբերությունների մասին, ասաց. «Հայ-թուրքական հարաբերություններում որեւէ փոփոխություն չեմ ակնկալում առաջիկայում: Թուրքիան ներգրավված է մեծ խաղերում, Մերձավոր Արեւելքում ունի շատ ծանր ներքին խնդիրներ, ներքին քաղաքական իրադրությունը եւս սրվել է՝ սահմանադրական փոփոխությունների հետ կապված։

Հետեւաբար, չեմ կարծում, որ նման պայմաններում Էրդողանի կառավարությունը գնա հայ-թուրքական հարաբերությունների կարգավորմանը»:

ԻՆչպես հայտնում է ORER.am-ը, Ռ.Սաֆրաստյանը նշեց նաեւ, որ Թուրքիան ժամանակ առ ժամանակ կփորձի օգտագործել Արցախի հիմնախնդիրը՝ իր քաղաքական խնդիրները լուծելու համար։

«Այսինքն, եթե Թուրքիան անհրաժեշտ համարի սրել Ադրբեջանի կողմից Արցախյան հիմնահարցը՝ հասցնելով նրան ագրեսիայի սահմանին, ապա, կարծում եմ, նա այդ քայլին կգնա»,- ընդգծեց թուրքագետը՝ չբացառելով նաեւ, որ առաջիկա տարիներին մեծ տերությունների կողմից կսկսվի Մերձավոր Արեւելքի նոր քաղաքական քարտեզի ձեւավորումը։

Այս առումով Հայաստանի դիվանագիտությունն անելիք ունի, քանի որ Հայաստանը կարեւոր աշխարհագրական եւ աշխարհաքաղաքական դիրք է գրավում Հարավային Կովկասում եւ Մերձավոր Արեւելքում։
