 Թուրքիայի զինված ուժերի հրամանատարությունը ցանկացել է ուղղակիորեն հասանելիություն ունենալ Ինջիրլիքի ռազմաբազայում տեղակայված գերմանական զորքերին պատկանող Tornado տեսակի հետախուզական ինքնաթիռների տվյալների նկատմամբ: Ինչպես հաղորդում է Արմենպրեսը, այս մասին տեղեկացնում է գերմանական Spiegel պարբերականը` հենվել ով Թուրքիայում Գերմանիայի դեսպանատան իր աղբյուրների վրա:

Թուրք բարձրաստիճան զինվորականը հայտնել է, որ եթե իրենք ունենան հետախուզության տվյալները, ապա թույլ կտան Ինջիրլիքում գերմանական զորամիավորումների համար նախատեսվող վերանորոգման աշխատանքներ իրականացնել: Տվյալների ստանալու անհրաժեշտությունը թուրքական կողմը պատճառաբանում է «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման դեմ պայքարով:

Այս տեղեկության առնչությամբ Գերմանիայի պաշտպանության և արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունները որևէ մեկնաբանություն չեն արել:

Գերմանական պարբերականը նշում է, որ շրջանառվում է կարծիք այն մասին, թե թուրքական կողմը գերմանական հետախուզական ճշգրտված տվյալները ցանկանում է օգտագործել ոչ միայն «Իսլամական պետություն» խմբավորման դեմ պայքարում, այլև քրդերի դեմ գործողություններում:

Գերմանիայի պաշտպանության նախարարությունը հետախուզական ինքնաթիռների ստացած տեղեկությունները կիսում է միայն ԻՊ դեմ պայքարի շրջանակում գործընկեր երկրների հետ: Նախարարությունից հայտնել են, որ իրենք վաղուց սպասում են հաստատման Ինջիրլիքում վերանորոգման աշխատանքներ սկսելու համար, սակայն թուրքական կողմը դեռևս անհայտ պատճառներով թույլտվություն չի տալիս:

Նմանօրինակ դեպք գրանցվել էր 2016 թվականին, երբ Բունդեսթագում Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչող բանաձևի ընդունումից հետո պաշտոնական Անկարան գերմանացի պատգամավորներին տևական ժամանակ թույլ չէր տալիս այցելել Ինջիրլիք:
