 ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության  նախարար Լևոն Մկրտչյանը փետրվարի 10-ին ընդունել է  ՀՀ-ում Լիտվայի Հանրապետության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան   Էրիկաս Պետրիկասին: Այս մասին  տեղեկացրին ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարարության հասարակայնության հետ կապերի և տեղեկատվության վարչությունից:

Ողջունելով դեսպանին` նախարար Լևոն Մկրտչյանը նշել է, որ անկախացումից հետո մեր երկու երկրների համագործակցությունը կրթության համակարգում համաքայլ է ընթացել, նրա բնորոշմամբ դրան նպաստել են նախ` նախկինում միևնույն կրթական  համակարգում ընդգրկված լինելու հանգամանքը, ապա`   կրթության նկատմամբ մեր երկրների առանձնահատուկ վերաբերմունքը: «Կրթության համակարգում մշտապես զգացել ենք Լիտվայի աջակցությունը, կրթական նոր համակարգի անցման ճանապահին մեզ համար կարևորվել  են  Լիտվայի և Ֆինլանդիայի օրինակները, իսկ  Բոլոնիայի գործընթա ցին մեր երկու երկրները գրեթե միաժամանակ են միացել»,- նշել է Լևոն Մկրտչյանը:

Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ոլորտում առկա համագործակցության առնչությամբ` դեսպան Պետրիկասն ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանում իր գործունեության տարիներին ջանքեր չի խնայել կրթության համակարգում հայ-լիտվական հարաբերությունները զարգացման նոր մակարդակի բարձրացնելու համար: Ոլորտում համագործակցության զարգացմանն ու խորացմանն  ուղղված գործնական քայլերի իրականացման համատեքստում` դեսպանը կարևորել է Հայաստանի ավարտական դասարանների աշակերտների համար Լիտվայի LCC միջազգային համալսարանի կողմից կազմակեպվող անգլերեն լեզվի բանավոր խոսքի մրցույթը: Երախտագիտություն հայտնելով ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարարությանը` մրցույթին ցուցաբերվող աջակցության համար` դեսպանը տեղեկացրել է, որ մրցույթի հայաստանյան փուլի հաղթողը հնարավորություն կստանա անվճար ուղևորվել Լիտվա`  մասնակցելու Կլայպեդայի LCC միջազգային համալսարանի եզրափակիչ փուլին, իսկ եզրափակիչ փուլը հաղթելու դեպքում` մեկ կիսամյակ սովորելու այդ համալսարանում:

Նախարար Լևոն Մկրտչյանը տեղեկացրել է նաև, որ Հայաստանն արդեն  եվրոպական «Հորիզոն 2020» գիտական ցանցի լիիրավ անդամ է, ինչը լայն հնարավորություններ է ընձեռում իրականացնել  գիտական, նորարարական  հետազոտություններ`  ներգրավելով տարբեր երկրների գիտահետազոտական ենթակառուցվածքները և բարձր որակավորում ունեցող հետազոտողներին: Այդ համատեքստում  նա առաջարկել է վերականգնել նաև գիտության ոլորտում  նախկինում եղած փոխգործակցությունը` շեշտը դնելով բնական գիտությունների վրա:
