Գյումրիի Վարդանանց հրապարակում փետրվարի 13-ին երեկոյան ժամերգությունից հետո կատարվեց Անդաստանի կարգ` Շիրակի թեմի առաջնորդ, գերաշնորհ Միքայել եպիսկոպոս Աջապահյանի հանդիսապետությամբ, ապա թեմակալ առաջնորդի կողմից վառվեց Տեառնընդառաջի կրակը:
 
Ժողովրդական սովորության համաձայն օրհնված կրակով վառված խարույկից կամ եկեղեցում վառվող մոմերից ժողովուրդը մոմեր է վառում եւ տանում տուն՝ որպես Քրիստոսի փրկարար լույսի խորհրդանիշ: Խարույկը վառելուց հետո հրապարակում հավաքվածները պարեցին խարույկի շուրջ: 
 
Միջոցառումն անցկացվեց Շիրակի թեմի եւ Գյումրու քաղաքապետարանի համատեղ ուժերով: Շիրակցիներին տոնի առթիվ իր հայրական ողջույնը հղեց թեմի առաջնորդ Միքայել եպիսկոպոս Աջապահյանը: Համաքաղաքային միջոցառմանը ներկա էին մարզային ու քաղաքային իշխանությունների ներկայացուցիչերը:
