Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Ֆրանսուա Օլանդի հայտարարությունն այն մասին, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորումը պետք է հիմնվի ինքնորոշման իրավունքի վրա, խստորեն անհանգստացրել է Բաքվին: Ադրբեջանի մեջլիսում փետրվարի 14-ին կայացած քննարկումների ժամանակ ադրբեջանցի պատգամավոր Ազայ Գուլիևը կոչ է արել բողոքի նոտա հղել Ֆրանսիային: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին տեղեկացնում է ադրբեջան ական Haqqin.az-ը:

Պատգամավորն ընդգծել է, որ հայերի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ Օլանդն իր աջակցությունն է հայտնել ժողովուրդների ինքնորոշման սկզբունքին: «Սա հայամետ քաղաքականության ակնհայտ դրսևորում է»,- նշել է Գուլիևը` առաջարկելով Ադրբեջանի ԱԳՆ կողմից Ֆրանսիային բողոքի նոտա հղել:

Ֆրանսուա Օլանդը Ֆրանսիայի հայկական կազմակերպությունների համակարգող խորհրդի ամենամյա ճաշկերույթի ընթացքում ԼՂ հակամարտության մասին ասել է. «Մարտերը դադարեցվել են, երկխոսություն է սկսվել, հրադադար է հաստատվել, սակայն մենք չենք կարող բավարարվել հրադադարով, քանի որ դա լուծում չէ: Մենք պետք է հակամարտության կարգավորման համար իրական բանակցություններ սկսենք: Մեծ սխալ կլինի կարծել, թե իրավիճակը կայունացել է: Մենք պետք է անդրադառնանք հակամարտության կարգավորման տարրերին, որոնք արձանագրված են Մադրիդյան սկզբունքներում: Մենք գիտենք նաև, որ երբ վերջիններս կիրառվեն, դրանք պետք է հիմնվեն Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի ինքնորոշման վրա, ուստի այս ճանապարհով առաջ շարժվելու համար Ֆրանսիան նոր հանդիպում կկազմակերպի Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի հետ»:
