 ՀՀ կենտրոնական բանկը մեծ վշտով հայտնում է, որ կյանքի 84-րդ տարում իր մահկանացուն է կնքել ՀՀ կենտրոնական բանկի նախագահի խորհրդական, ՀՀ կենտրոնական բանկի առաջին նախագահ՝ Իսահակ Աբասի Իսահակյանը:

Նա մեկն էր այն եզակի անձնավորություններից, ով իր աշխատանքային գործունեությունը սկսել և շարունակել է նույն հիմնարկի՝ նախկին ԽՍՀՄ Պետբանկի, ներկայիս՝ Կենտրոնական բանկի պատերի ներքո՝ իր մասնագիտական, մարդկային հատկություններով ակտիվ մասնակցություն ունենալով այդ հաստատության պատմության կերտմանը:

1957 թվականին ավարտելով Տաշքենդի Ֆինանսատնտեսագիտական ինստիտուտի Տնտեսագիության ֆակուլտետը՝ աշխատանքի է անցել ԽՍՀՄ պետբանկի հայկական գրասենյակում՝ որպես վարկային տեսուչ՝ այնուհետև զբաղեցրել է տարբեր պաշտոններ՝ մինչև ԽՍՀՄ պետբանկի հայկական գրասենյակի կառավարիչ-վարչության նախագահ: Հայաստանի անկախացումից հետո նշանակվել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության կենտրոնական բանկի վարչության նախագահ:

Նրա կենսագրությունը շուրջ 60 տարի միահյուսված էր Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Կենտրոնական բանկի պատմությանը: Իսահակ Իսահակյանը 1993 թվականին ՀՀ Գերագույն խորհրդի որոշմամբ ստեղծված «ՀՀ դրամաշրջանառության կարգավորման պետական հանձնաժողովի»երեք համանախագահներից մեկն էր, նրա ստորագրությամբ են վավերացված Անկախ Հայաստանի դրամաշրջանառության կազմակերպման կարևորագույն փաստաթղթերը, ՀՀ առաջին թղթադրամները: Մարդկանց ու նրանց խնդիրների նկատմամբ նրա կողմից ցուցաբերած առանձնահատուկ մոտեցումը վկայում էին յուրօրինակ փորձի ու մարդասիրությա ն մասին: Նա եղել է և կմնա կենտրոնական բանկի կոլեկտիվում և ողջ ֆինանսական համակարգում, որպես բարձր մասնագիտական հատկանիշներով, բարեկրթությամբ և օրինապահությամբ օժտված մարդու վառօրինակ:

Իսահակ Իսահակյանը պարգևատրվել է «Անանիա Շիրակացի» մեդալով, Վարչապետի հուշամեդալով, Կենտրոնական բանկի գերատեսչական պարգևներով: Նրա հիշատակը միշտ վառ կմնա իր գործընկերների կյանքում:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ԿԲ հասարակայնության հետ կապերի ծառայությունից, Իսահակ Իսահակյանի հոգեհանգիստը կկայանա փետրվարի 17-ին, ժամը 18.00՝ Նուբարաշեն 46 հասցեում գտնվող սգո սրահում, հուղարկավորությունը՝ փետրվարի 18-ին, ժամը 13.00՝ նույն հասցեից:
