ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարար Լևոն Ալթունյանն ընդունել է ՄԱԿ-ի ՄԻԱՎ/ՁԻԱՀ միացյալ ծրագրի Արևելյան Եվրոպայի և Կենտրոնական Ասիայի երկրների տարածաշրջանային տնօրեն Վինեյ Սալդանային։ Այս մասին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարարությունից:

Նա  նախարարին ներկայացրել է, որ ԱՊՀ տարածքում, մասնավորապես` Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունում շարունակվում է ՄԻԱՎ վարակի նոր դեպքերի աճ արձանագրվել։ Մինչդեռ շատ երկրներում հիվանդության տարածման անկում է գրանցվում, մահվան դեպքերը նվազագույնին են հասցվում։ Եվ 2016 թվականից շեշտը դրվում է ոչ թե հիվանդության դեմ պայքարի, այլ վարակը կասեցնելու վրա։

Վինեյ Սալդանան շեշտել է, որ Արեվելյան Եվրոպայի և Կենտրոնական Ասիայի տարածաշրջանում Հայաստանն առանձնանում է ՄԻԱՎ վարակի դեմ արդյունավետ պայքարով։ Դրա վկայությունն է, որ Հայաստանն աշխարհի այն 4 երկրներից մեկն է, որոնք Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության կողմից արժանացել են մորից երեխային ՄԻԱՎ-ի փոխանցման վերացման հավաստագրի։ Նաև հույս է հայտնել, որ Հայաստանը տարածաշրջանում առաջիններից մեկը կլինի, որ, առաջնորդվելով ԱՀԿ-ի վերջին ուղեցույցներով, 2017 թվականից կսկսի բուժում տրամադրել ՄԻԱՎ-ով ապրող բոլոր անձանց:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են Հայաստանում ՄԻԱՎ/ՁԻԱՀ-ի դեմ պայքարի ազգային ծրագրի ֆինանսավորման, դրանում կառավարության մասնակցության, ինչպես նաև խնդրի լուծման գործում միջպետական համագործակցությանը վերաբերող հարցեր։

Նախարար Ալթունյանը կարևորել է ՄԱԿ-ի ՄԻԱՎ/ՁԻԱՀ միացյալ ծրագրի աջակցությունը Հայաստանին ՄԻԱՎ-ի կանխարգելման, բուժման և Կայուն զարգացման նպատակներին հասնելու գործում։  

Լևոն Ալթունյանը նաև ողջունել է` ՄԱԿ-ի ՄԻԱՎ/ՁԻԱՀ-ի հարցերի համատեղ ծրագրի կողմից  մարտի 1-ը խտրականության դեմ պայքարի օր հռչակելու նախաձեռնությունը։

Նախարարը և տարածաշրջանային տնօրենը պայմանավորվել են  ՄԱԿ-ի ՄԻԱՎ/ՁԻԱՀ միացյալ ծրագրի աջակցությամբ նրանց հետ համագործակցող միջազգային կառույցների և աշխարհում ճանաչված դեղարտադրող ֆիրմաների հետ իրականացնել ներդրումային ծրագրեր, մասնավորապես` դեղարտադրության և գնումների ոլորտում։
