 Իրանի պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչները Սաուդյան Արաբիայի իշխանությունների հետ քննարկել են այս տարի Սաուդյան Արաբիայում սրբազան վայրեր ուխտագնացության կազմակերպման հարցերը: Ինչպես հայտնել Է Asharq Al-Awsat թերթի Էլեկտրոնային տարբերակը, երկկողմ կոնսուլտացիաները տեղի են ունեցել Սաուդյան Արաբիայի Ջիդդա քաղաքում, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը: 
 
Բանակցությունների առաջին փուլի արդյունքներով, մասնակիցները համաձայնության են եկել շարունակելու սաուդա-իրանական կոնսուլտացիաները:  
 
Անցյալ տարի իրանցիները զրկված Էին հաջ կատարելու հնարավորությունից: Ուխտագնացների անվտանգությունն ապահովելու եւ նրանց անհրաժեշտ բժշկական օգնություն ցույց տալու շուրջն իրանցի եւ սաուդացի պաշտոնատար անձանց՝ անցած գարնանը մի քանի փուլով կայացած բանակցություններն ավարտվել են ապարդյուն: Այդ բանակցությունների անցկացումը պնդել Է Թեհրանը՝ 2015 թվականի սեպտեմբերին Մինայի հովտում տեղի ունեցած ողբերգությունից հետո, որտեղ հրմշտոցի հետեւանքով զոհվեցին շուրջ 3 հազար ուխտագնացներ, այդ թվում 464 իրանցիներ, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
