Սեյսմիկ պաշտպանության ծառայության սեյսմոլոգիական ցանցի կողմից մարտի 2-ից մինչև 8-ը գրանցված երկրաշարժերից 19-ի համար որոշվել են օջախի հիմնական պարամետրերը:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին  «ՍՊԾ» գործակալությունից, տեղի ունեցած և երկրի մակերևույթին 2-3 բալ ուժգնությամբ զգացված սեյսմիկ իրադարձություններից 4-ի էպիկենտրոնները գտնվում են Հայաստանի Հ անրապետության տարածքում՝

  • մարտի 5-ին, ժամը 18:28-ին, M=0.6 Մասիս քաղաքից 7 կմ դեպի հարավ-արևմուտք,
  • մարտի 7-ին, ժամը 03:22-ին, M=1.7 Բավրա գյուղից 12 կմ դեպի հյուսիս-արևելք, ժամը 13:40-ին, M=1.9 Աշոցք գյուղից 10 կմ դեպի հյուսիս-արևելք և ժամը 21:35-ին, M=2.1 Սիսիան քաղաքից 23 կմ դեպի հարավ-արևմուտք:

Մարտի 6-ին 4-5 բալ ուժգնությամբ (մագնիտուդ 3.4) երկրաշարժ է գրանցվել Արցախի Հանրապետությունում` Քարվաճառ քաղաքից 28 կմ դեպի հյուսիս-արևելք: Ստորգետնյա ցնցումները զգացվել են Արցախի հյուսիսային բնակավայրերում, Դադիվանք գյուղում՝ 3-4 բալ և Քարվաճառ քաղաքում՝ 2-3 բալ ուժգնությամբ: Երկրաշարժին հաջորդել է 2-3 բալ (մագնիտուդ 2.0) ուժգնությամբ ստորգետնյա ցնցում:

Տարածաշրջանում 3 բալ և ավելի ուժգնությամբ գրանցվել է 4 երկրաշարժ: Մարտի 2-ին 3-4 բալ ուժգնությամբ (մագնիտուդ 2.7) երկրաշարժ է տեղի ունեցել Ադրբեջանում՝ Զաքաթալա քաղաքից 22 կմ դեպի արևմուտք: Նույն օրը 3 բալ և 4 բալ ուժգնությամբ (մագնիտուդ 2.6 և 2.9) երկու երկրաշարժ է գրանցվել Թուրքիա-Իրան սահմանային գոտում՝ Խոյ քաղաքից 63 կմ դեպի հարավ-արևմուտք: Մարտի 4-ին Թուրքիայի Պունտոս քաղաքից 37 կմ դեպի արևմուտք գրանցվել է 3 բալ ուժգնությամբ (մագնիտուդ 2.6) երկրաշարժ:

Տարածաշրջանից դուրս 6.3 մագնիտուդով երկրաշարժ է գրանցվել մարտի 5-ին Պապուա Նոր Գվինեայի Կադրիան քաղաքից 32 կմ դեպի հյուսիս-արևմուտք: Երկրաշարժի հետևանքով զոհեր և ավերածություններ չկան:

Մարտի 2-ին 5.5 մագնիտուդով երկրաշարժ է գրանցվել Արևելյան Թուրքիայում՝ Սամսատ քաղաքից 2 կմ դեպի հյուսիս-արևելք: Երկրաշարժի հետևանքով 22 մարդ ստացել են տարբեր աստիճանի մարմնական վնասվածքներ: Սամսատում և հարակից գյուղերում վնասվել են բազմաթիվ տներ:

Մարտի 5-ին Ֆիլիպիններում՝ Սուրիգաո քաղաքից 7 կմ դեպի հյուսիս-արևելք գրանցված 5.7 մագնիտուդով երկրաշարժի հետևանքով զոհվել է 1 մարդ, վիրավորվել՝ 25-ը:
