ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը մարտի 10-ին ընդունել է պաշտոնական այցով Հայաստանում գտնվող Հունաստանի Հանրապետության արտաքին գործերի նախարար Նիկոս Կոձիասին:
Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ողջունելով հյուրին մեր երկրում՝ Հանրապետությ ան Նախագահն ընդգծել է, որ հայ-հունական առնչությունները հազարամյակների պատմություն ունեն, և այդ պատմությունը լի է բարեկամության բազմաթիվ դրսևորումներով, որի հիմքի վրա՝ Հայաստանի անկախացումից ի վեր անցած 25 տարիներին երկու պետությունները ձևավորել են սերտ բարեկամական հարաբերություններ:

Նախագահ Սարգսյանը նշել է, որ Հայաստանի ցանկությունն է՝ ավելի խորացնել ու ընդլայնել առկա փոխգործակցությունը Հունաստանի հետ, ակտիվացնել քաղաքական երկխոսությունը, նոր թափ հաղորդել տնտեսական հարաբերություններին՝ հասցնելով դրանք քաղաքական հարաբերությունների առկա բարձր մակարդակին: 
Հունաստանի արտգործնախարար Կոձիասը նշել է, որ այդ հարցում միանգամայն համաձայն է Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի հետ և կարծում է, որ բարեկամական այն խորը զգացմունքները, որ տածում են հայ և հույն ժողովուրդները միմյանց նկատմամբ, անհրաժեշտ է ամրապնդել բոլոր ոլորտն երում համագործակցություն զարգացնելով և վստահեցրել է, որ Հունաստանն ունի դա իրականացնելու քաղաքական կամք, որի համար առկա է նաև իրավական հիմք՝ ստորագրված ավելի քան երեք տասնյակ համաձայնագրեր ու պայմանագրեր: 
Զրուցակիցները երկուստեք կարևորել են կրթության, այդ թվում՝ ռազմական կրթության, մշակույթի, տնտեսության, տրանսպորտի, զբոսաշրջության և մի շարք այլ ոլորտներում համագործակցությունը շարունակելու և ամրապնդելու ուղղությամբ հետևողական աշխատանքի իրականացումը: 
Նախարար Նիկոս Կոձիասը ընդգծել է, որ առկա են բոլոր հնարավորություն ները Հունաստանի և Հայաստանի միջև ռազմավարական հարաբերություններ և գործընկերություն հաստատելու համար:
