Ամերիկյան հայտնի «Խոսքի ազատությունը ժողովրդի համար»  հասարակական կազմակերպությունը Նյու Յորքի դատախազ Էրիկ Շնայդերմանից պահանջել է ստուգել ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի բիզնես հոլդինգի ծավալած գործունեությունը:

Այս մասին, ինչպես հաղորդում է Արմենպրեսը, հայտնում է ադրբեջանական haqqin.az-ը:

Կազմակերպությունը ամերիկյան հեղինակավոր «Նյու Յորքեր» ամսագրում տպագրած հոդվածում, մասնավորապես, անհանգստություն է հայտնել Թրամփին պատկանող Trump Organization ընկերության և Ադրբեջանի նախկին տրանսպորտի նախարար Զիա Մամեդովի ընտանիքի միջև եղած բիզնես կապերի վերաբերյալ:

Կազմակերպությունը դատախազությունից պահանջել «արտաքին կոռուպցիոն դրսևորումների» հատկանիշներով ստուգել  Trump Organization-ի և Զիա Մամեդովի ընտանիքին պատկանող բիզնեսների միջև կատարված գործարքները:

«Խոսքի ազատությունը ժողովրդի համար»   կազմակերպությունից բացի Նյու Յորքի հարավային շրջանների դատախազություն նման դիմում են ներկայացրել ևս երկու իրավապաշտպան կազմակերպություն:

«Թրամփ» ապրանքանիշը, որն Ադրբեջանում ներկայացված էր հյուրանոցային ծառայության տեսքով, 2017-ի հունվարին վերջնականապես լքել է Ադրբեջանը:

Հունվարի 16-ին Trump International Hotel&Tower ցուցանակը հանվել է Բաքվի կենտրոնում գտնվող հյուրանոցի շենքի վրայից:

Դեռևս 2016-ի դեկտեմբերին «Արմենպրես»-ը, հղում կատարելով azadliq.info-ին՝ տեղեկացրել էր, որ ԱՄՆ ընտրված նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի ընկերությունը (Trump Organization) դադարեցնում է Ադրբեջանում իրականացվող նախագծերի լիցենզավորված պայմանագրերը:

Trump Organization-ի փոխնախագահի փոխանցմամբ`Թրամփի այս որոշումը պայմանավորված էր նրանով, որ նորընտիր ԱՄՆ նախագահը 2017 թվականի հունվարի 20-ին տեղի ունեցած նախագահական երդմնակալությունից առաջ ցանկանում էր խուսափել բիզնես շահերի եւ իր քաղաքական դերի հնարավոր հակասություններից:

Բաքվի կենտրոնում գտնվող Trump Tower անվանումը կրող 33 հարկանի հյուրանոցի շինարարական աշխատանքները ավարտվել էին դեռեւս 2015 թվականին, սակայն հյուրանոցի բացումը չէր կատարվել:

Դեռ 2016-ի մայիսին The Washington Post թերթը հոդված էր հրապարակել այն մասին, որ վերոհիշյալ աշտարակը պատկանում է ոչ թե Դոնալդ Թրամփին, այլ Ադրբեջանի տրանսպորտի և կապի նախարար Զիա Մամեդովի որդուն՝ Անար Մամեդովին: Վերջինս հանդիսանում է «Գարանտ Հոլդինգի» տնօրենը և Trump Tower-ի սեփականատերը: Անար Մամեդովը Թրամփից պարզապես գնել էր վերջինիս անվանումը:
