 Երուսաղեմի Սուրբ Հարության տաճարում մարտի 22-ին տեղի ունեցավ Հիսուս Քրիստոսի Սուրբ Գերեզմանի վերանորոգմանը նվիրված հանդիսավոր արարողություն, որին մասնակցեց Հայաստանի պաշտոնական պատվիրակությունը՝ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանի գլխավորությամբ: Արարողությանը ներկա էին Հունաստանի վարչապետ Ալեքսիս Ցիպրասը, այլ երկրների բարձրաստիճան ներկայացուցիչներ, քրիստոնեական եկեղեցիների առաջնորդներ, բազմաթիվ հավատացյ ալներ։ Այս մասին տեղեկանում ենք ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից:

Նույն օրն առավոտյան Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը այցելեց Երուսաղեմի Հայոց պատրիարքարան, ուր հանդիպում ունեցավ պատրիարք Նուրհան արքեպիսկոպոս Մանուկյանի հետ։

Այնուհետև Նուրհան պատրիարքի և նախարար Նալբանդյանի առաջնորդությամբ հայկական թափորն ուղևորվեց Սուրբ Հարության տաճար, ուր տեղի ունեցավ հանդիսավոր արարողություն՝ նվիրված Հիսուս Քրիստոսի Սուրբ Գերեզմանի վերանորոգմանը։

Արարողությանը ելույթներով հանդես եկան Երուսաղեմի Հայոց Պատրիարք Նուրհան արքեպիսկոպոս Մանուկյանը, Հունական ուղղափառ եկեղեցու էկումենիկ պատրիարք Բարդուղիմեոսը, Հունական ուղղափառ եկեղեցու Երուսաղեմի պատրիարք Թեֆոիլոս երրորդը, Կաթոլիկ եկեղեցու ֆրանցիսկանների ուխտի Երուսաղեմի առաջնորդ Ֆրանչեսկո Պատոնը։ Ընթերցվեց Ամենայն Հայոց կաթողիկոս Գարեգին Բ-ի ուղերձը։

Սուրբ Գերեզմանը քրիստոնեական աշխարհի գլխավոր սրբավայրերից է, որտեղ խաչելությունից հետո ամփոփվել է Հիսուս Քրիստոսը: Քրիստոսի գերեզմանի, Գողգոթայի Խաչելության և մի շարք այլ սրբավայրերի վրա 4-րդ դարում Բյուզանդիայի կայսր Կոստանդինոս Մեծը կառուցեց Սուրբ Հարության տաճարը: Նախորդ տարվա մայիսին Սբ. Գերեզմանի իրավատեր երեք եկեղեցիների՝ Երուսաղեմի Հայոց պատրիարքարանի, Հունաց պատրիարքարանի և Կաթոլիկ եկեղեցու համատեղ որոշմամբ մեկնարկեցին Սուրբ Գերեզմանի վերանորոգման և վերականգնողական աշխատանքները: Դրանցում ներգրավված էին նաև հայ ճարտար ապետները։ Հիսուս Քրիստոսի Սուրբ Գերեզմանը վերջին անգամ վերանորոգվել էր 1808թ.։
