 Ահաբեկչությունը չարիք է, որը կարող է ցանկացած պահի ի հայտ գալ, դրա համար անհրաժեշտ է միշտ զգոն լինել և դրա դեմ քայլեր ձեռնարկել: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է Արմենպրեսը, ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը հայտարարել Է «Միր» հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցում, որի տեքստը հրապարակված Է հեռուստաընկերության կայքում: Նախագահ Սարգսյանը պատասխանել է «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման դեմ պայքարում ՀԱՊԿ երկրների դերի մասին հարցին:

«Կարծում եմ, որ մենք կարող ենք ավելի ակտիվորեն օգնել Ռուսաստանի զինված ուժերին այդ մեծ ու կարեւոր խնդրի կատարման գործում: ՌԴ-ն շատ մեծ ավանդ Է ներդնում այդ պայքարում, եւ մենք պետք Է կրենք թե՛ այդ պատասխանատվության, թե՛ այդ ջանքերի ինչ-որ մասը»,-ասել Է նա:

Նախագահի խոսքով՝ Հայաստանի համար դա առանձնապես կարեւոր Է, քանի որ «Մերձավոր Արեւելքում հսկայական թվով մեր հայրենակիցներն են ապրում»: «Ինչպես հայտնի Է, ԻՊ-ն առանձնակի դաժանությամբ Է գործում ազգային փոքրամասնությունների, առավել եւս քրիստոնյաների դեմ: Դրանից խիստ տուժել են Սիրիայում եւ Իրաքում ապրող մեր քույրերն ու եղբայրները: Իհարկե, որքան ավելի շուտ ոչնչացվեն ԻՊ-ի զինյալները, այնքան ավելի լավ ամբողջ մարդկության համար: Մենք պատրաստ ենք այսուհետեւ Էլ մարդասիրական օգնություն ցուցաբերել սիրիական ժողովրդին, որը շատ խիստ տու ժել Է: Կարծում եմ՝ այն ջանքերը, որ այժմ գործադրում Է Ռուսաստանը, ՌԴ-ի զինված ուժերը, հաջողությամբ են պսակվում»,- հավելել Է Հայաստանի նախագահը:

Նա հասկանալի է համարել, որ թե Լոնդոնում, թե Փարիզում շատ միջոցներ են ծախսվում անվտանգության ապահովման համար, սակայն ահաբեկչությունը հանցագործություն է, որը դժվար է կանխատեսել: «Այլ բան է, երբ հետապնդվում են խմբավորումներ, երբ կա տեսանելի թշնամի, այլ բան է, երբ փախստականների դիմակի տակ յուրաքանչյուր երկիր կարող են մտնել մարդիկ, որոնց առաջադրանքը բոլորովին այլ է»,- ասել է Սերժ Սարգսյանը: Նա հավելել է, որ դրա դեմ պայքարելը շատ դժվար է` ընդգծելով, որ ահաբեկչությունը շատ վտանգավոր երևույթ է: «Առաջին հերթին հարկավոր է ցավակցություն հա յտնել բոլոր տուժածներին և հաջողություն մաղթել բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր պայքարում են այդ չարիքի դեմ»,- եզրափակել է ՀՀ Նախագահը:
