Հայաստանի Հանրապետության վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը և Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության առաջին փոխնախագահ Էսհաղ Ջահանգիրին հանդիպումից հետո լրագրողների համար համատեղ հայտարարություն են արել հանդիպման արդյունքների վերաբերյալ: Վարչապետ Աբրահամյանը նշել է, որ Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության առաջին փոխնախագահ պարոն Ջահանգիրիի հետ հանդիպման ընթացքում վերահաստատել են երկու երկրների միջև առկա ավանդական բարեկամական կապերը և հանձնառությունը՝ էլ ավելի խորացնելու առկա հարաբերությունները փոխգործակցության բոլոր ոլորտներում:
«Մենք քննարկեցինք երկուստեք հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող հարցերի լայն շրջանակ, որը ներառում է առևտրատնտեսական հարաբերություններին, ենթակառուցվածքների զարգացմանը, էներգետիկայի ու հեռահաղորդակցության ոլորտներում փոխգործակցության ակտիվացմանը, զբոսաշրջության, գիտակրթական և մշակութային կապերի հետագա ընդլայնմանը, ինչպես նաև տարածաշրջանային զարգացումներին առնչվող հարցեր:
Հատուկ ընդգծվել է հայ-իրանական միջկառավարական հանձնաժողովի գործունեության կարևորությունը երկկողմ կապերի հետագա սերտացման գործում, ինչը երկու երկրների առևտրատնտեսական հարաբերությունների փոխշահավետ զարգացման կարևոր գործիք է:
Երկուստեք կարևորվեց նաև պատմամշակութային հարուստ ժառանգության պահպանման և վերականգնման խնդիրը: Օգտվելով առիթից՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության իշխանությունների անունից շնորհակալություն հայտնեցի Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության իշխանություններին հայ համայնքի նկատմամբ մշտապես ցուցաբերվող հոգատար վերաբերմունքի, ինչպես նաև հայկական պատմամշակութային ժառանգության պահպանման համար:
Ամփոփելով խոսքս՝ կարող եմ նշել, որ բանակցություններն ընթացան բարեկամ երկրներին բնորոշ ջերմ և կառուցողական մթնոլորտում», - ասել է Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը:
ԻԻՀ առաջին փոխնախագահ Էսհաղ Ջահանգիրին, բարձր գնահատելով տարբեր բնագավառներում երկկողմ համագործակցության մակարդակը, նշել է, որ միջկառավարական հանձնաժողովի նիստում քննարկվելիք հարցերը կլինեն երկու երկրների ղեկավարների վերահսկողության ներքո, և առկա խնդիրներն արագ լուծում կստանան: «Անցած տասնամյակների ընթացքում մեր երկկողմ հարաբերությունները լավ օրինակ կարող են հանդիսանալ տարածաշրջանում»,-ասել է Էսհաղ Ջահանգիրիին:
