Այսօր «Պոստ Սկրիպտում» մամուլի ակումբում հրավիրված ասուլիսի ժամանակ տարածաշրջանային հարցերով փորձագետ, թուրքագետ Մուշեղ Խուդավերդյանն անդրադարձավ Սիրիայում տեղի ունեցող վերջին զարգացումներին եւ Թուրքիայի դերակատարությանը:

Ինչպես նշեց բանախոսը, Սիրիայում ընթացող պայքարը նմանվում է փոքրիկ համաշխարհային պատերազմի եւ ռազմական պայքար են մղում ՆԱՏՕ-ի եւ արեւելյան երկրները:

«Թուրքիան այդ առումով հետաքրքիր կեցվածք է որդեգրել եւ հասկանում է, որ եթե չսպասարկի Սիրիայում ՆԱՏՕ-ի շահերը, ապա մեկ օր էլ չի մնա ՆԱՏՕ-ում: Սիրիական թնջուկը վտանգավոր է նաեւ Հայաստանի համար, քանի որ Սիրիայում հայ համայնքը պառակտվում եւ ոչնչանում է, քանդվում են հայկական եկեղեցիները»,-ասաց նա` հավելելով, որ ծայրահեղականների համար Հայաստանն անցանկալի երկիր է, քանի որ քրիստոնյա է:

Մ. Խուդավերդյանը նաեւ ընդգծեց, որ ընթացող զարգացումները Հայաստանի վրա ազդելու են այն առումով, որ սիրիահայերի հոսքը ավելի է շատանալու, ինչը Հայաստանի համար տնտեսական դժվարություններ կարող է ստեղծել:

«Ժնեւյան բանակցությունները փորձում են կոծկել առկա ռազմական գործողությունների խելահեղությունը, սակայն, եթե հասնում են բանակցային համաձայնության, ապա մեկ-երկու ամիս անց խախտում են այդ համաձայնությունը»,- ասաց նա եւ նշեց, որ ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից ռմբակոծումը հենց ցույց տվեց, որ Ժնեւյան բանակցությունները ինչ որ առումով կորցրել են իրենց իմաստը:

Ըստ նրա՝ քիմիական զենքի առկայության վերաբերյալ լուրերը դեռեւս հաստատված չեն: «Ռուս-ամերիկյան հարաբերությունները Սիրիայի հարցում բավականին լարված են: ԱՄՆ-ն մշտապես փորձելու է ընդլայնել իր ազդեցությունը ի հաշիվ Ռուսաստանի ազդեցության գոտիների, ինչի հետեւանքով ռուս-ամերիկյան հարաբերությունները մշտապես լարված կլինեն: Ժնեւյան բանակցություններն իմիտացիա են նրա, որ կողմերը հաշտության են գալիս, սակայն ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից ռմբակոծությունը չի խոսում այն մասին, որ առաջիկայում հաշտության եզրեր առկա են եւ լարվածությունը խորանալու վտանգ կա»,- ասաց թուրքագետը:
