Գարեգին Բ Ծայրագույն Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում ապրիլի 10-ին, ընդունել է Երեւանի Մխիթար Հերացու անվան պետական բժշկական համալսարանի (ԵՊԲՀ) ուսանողներին, ԵՊԲՀ-ի «Հերացի» ավագ դպրոցի աշակերտներին, ինչպես նաեւ ռազմական գործողությունների ընթացքում վիրավորված զինվորներին` ուղեկցությամբ ԵՊԲՀ ռեկտոր Արմեն Մուրադյանի:

Մայր Աթոռից հայտնում են, որ հանդիպմանը ԵՊԲՀ ռեկտորը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց Հայոց Հայրապետին ընդունելության համար: Տիար Ա. Մուրադյանը Նորին Սրբությանը ներկայացրեց մարտական գործողությունների ժամանակ տարբեր աստիճանի վիրավորումներ ստացած զինվորներին, ում սխրանքն իրենց տարեկից ուսանողների, ապագա բժիշկների համար օրինակ է մարդասիրության ու հայրենանվիրումի: Այս կապակցությամբ նա նաեւ երախտագիտությամբ նշեց Մայր Աթոռի հովանու ներքո գործող Իզմիրլյան բժշկական կենտրոնում ապրիլյան պատերազմի օրերին հայրենյաց պաշտպաններին ցուցաբերված օգնությունը:

Այնուհետեւ ամենքին իր օրհնությունը բերեց Գարեգին Բ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը: Նորին Սրբությունը հետաքրքվեց յուրաքանչյուր զինվորի առողջական վիճակով` համայն հայության անունից իր գնահատանքն ու խոնարհումը բերելով նրանց` իրենց դրսեւորած արիության եւ անձնազոհության համար: Հայոց Հայրապետն ընդգծեց, որ առաջնագիծ կատարած այցերի ընթացքում ամեն անգամ տեսնում է հոգով վերափոխված, հասուն երիտասարդների, առանձնակի պատասխանատվության գիտակցությունն ունեցող քաջարի հայորդիների:

Խոսքն ուղղելով ուսանող երիտասարդներին` Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը հորդորեց նրանց գնահատել հայ զինվորի սխրանքը` հավելելով, որ հայրենիքի խաղաղությունը պայմանավորված է յուրաքանչյուրի ծառայասիրությամբ, իսկ սահմանը սկսվում աշխատավայրից: Վեհափառ Հայրապետը կարեւոր նկատեց, որ յուրաքանչյուր հայորդի այս գիտակցությամբ իր ծառայությունը բերի իր հայրենիքին` նպաստելով երկրի առաջընթացին, ժողովրդի բարօր ու խաղաղ կյանքին:

Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը անդրադարձ կատարեց նաեւ հայ հոգեւորականների դերակատարությանը Հայոց բանակում, Հոգեւոր առաջնորդության ծառայությանը, անգամ մարտական գործողությունների ընթացքում հայ զինվորին ցուցաբերվող հոգեւոր զորակցությանը: 

Զրույցի ընթացքում Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը պատասխանեց նաեւ ուսանողների հարցերին, որոնք վերաբերում էին բժշկի ծառայության մեջ հավատի ընկալմանը, Հայ Եկեղեցու քարոզչությանը, քրիստոնեական դաստիարակությանը եւ Եկեղեցու առջեւ ծառացած արդի մարտահրավերներին: 

Հանդիպման առիթով Նորին Սրբությունը ամենքին ընծայեց Ս. Գրիգոր Նարեկացու Աղոթամատյաններ, իսկ զինվորականները Վեհափառին փոխանցեցին սահմանագծում ծառայող զինվորների կողմից պատրաստված սրբապատկերը:

Վերջում Գարեգին Բ Հայրապետը «Պահպանիչ» աղոթքով օրհնեց եւ Աստծու զորակցությունը մաղթեց ներկաներին, զինվորականներին ցանկացավ լիարժեք շուտափույթ ապաքինում:

Հանդիպմանը ներկա էր Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի Վարչա-տնտեսական բաժնի տնօրեն Գերաշնորհ Տ. Մուշեղ եպիսկոպոս Բաբայանը:
