ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն ապրիլի 12-ին աշխատանքային այցով մեկնել է Արմավիրի մարզ: 

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, Էջմիածին քաղաքում Հանրապետության Նախագահը Եվրոպական ֆուտբոլային ասոցիացիաների միության (ՈՒԵՖԱ) նախագահ Ալեքսանդր Չեֆերինի, Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի ֆեդերացիայի (ՀՖՖ) գործկոմի անդամ, Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանի, ՀՖՖ նախագահ Ռուբեն Հայրապետյանի, մարզային և քաղաքային իշխանությունների, տեղի պատգամավորների, սպորտի ոլորտի պատասխանատուների, Էջմիածնի թիվ 1 մարզադպրոցի սան երի և քաղաքի բնակիչների հետ մասնակցել է Վաղարշապատի ֆուտբոլի ակադեմիայի հիմնարկեքի արարողությանը, որի կառուցման ծրագիրը ՀՖՖ-ի, ՈւԵՖԱ-ի և Ֆուտբոլի համաշխարհային միության (ՖԻՖԱ) կողմից իրականացվող համատեղ ներդրումային ծրագիր է: Շուրջ 900 մլն դրամ արժողությամբ հիշյալ ծրագրի իրականացումն սկսվել է 2016թ. հոկտեմբերին, նախատեսվում է ավարտել 2017թ. հոկտեմբերին:


Հանրապետության Նախագահը ակադեմիայի կառուցման շինհրապարակում ծանոթացել է ինչպես Վաղարշապատի, այնպես էլ մարզի մեկ այլ՝ Արմավիր քաղաքում կառուցվող ֆուտբոլի ակադեմիայի շինարարական նախագծերին, զրուցել ծրագրի պատասխանատուների և շինարարների հետ: Նրանց հավաստմամբ, Վաղարշապատի ֆուտբոլի ակադեմիայի 1100 քմ ընդհանուր մակերեսով երկհարկանի մասնաշենքում կլինեն ժամանակակից ֆուտբոլը սպասարկող ենթակառուցվածքներ: Բացօթյա լողավազանը, արհեստական 1 և բնական խոտածածկով 3 խաղադաշտերը կառուցվելու են ժամանակակից տեխնոլոգիաներով՝ ՖԻՖԱ-ի և ՈՒԵՖԱ-ի կողմից պրոֆեսիոնալ ֆուտբոլի համար սահմանված չափանիշներին համապատասխան: Կկառուցվի նաև մոտ 500 նստատեղով տրիբունա՝ ֆուտբոլի առաջնությունների պաշտոնական հանդիպումներ հյուրընկալելու նպատակով: Նորակառույց ակադեմիան աշխատանքով կապահովի 25-30 մարդու՝ 130-150 հազար դրամ միջին աշխատավարձով: 

Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանին ներկայացվել է նաև, որ ընթացիկ տարվա փետրվարին մեկնարկած շուրջ 1.4 մլրդ դրամ արժողությամբ Արմավիրի ֆուտբոլի ակադեմիայի կառուցման ծրագիրը կավարտվի 2019թ. հոկտեմբերին: Այն ևս ՀՖՖ-ի, ՈւԵՖԱ-ի և ՖԻՖԱ-ի կողմից իրականացվող համատեղ ներդրումային ծրագիր է: 

Պատասխանատուների հավաստմամբ, ինչպես Վաղարշապատի, այնպես էլ Արմավիրի ֆուտբոլի ակադեմիաներում կարող են մարզվել մինչև 600 պատանիներ և աղջիկներ: Վերոնշյալ երկու ակադեմիաները կառուցվում են ի լրումն 2010-2014 թվականներին Հայկական ֆուտբոլի ռազմավարական զարգացման ծրագրի շրջանակներում շահագործման հանձնված ՀՖՖ տեխնիկական կենտրոն ակադեմիայի, Գյումրու ֆուտբոլի ակադեմիայի և Վանաձորի ֆուտբոլի ակադեմիայի: 

Վաղարշապատի ֆուտբոլի ակադեմիայի հիմնարկեքի արարողությունից հետո Հանրապետության Նախագահը հանդիպում է ունեցել ՈՒԵՖԱ-ի նախագահ Ալեքսանդր Չեֆերինի հետ:
