ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարության և «Տավիթյան» հիմնադրամի համագործակցության շրջանակներում մայիսի 2-ից 6-ը ՀՀ ՊՆ Վազգեն Սարգսյանի անվան ռազմական համալսարանի Հրամանատարաշտաբային ֆակուլտետում անցկացվում է ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարության և գերատեսչությունների համապատասխան մասնագետների համար նախատեսված՝ ԱՄՆ-ի Թավթսի համալսարանի Ֆլետչերի դիվանագիտության և իրավունքի դպրոցի միջազգային անվտանգության հարցերով դասընթացը:     

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, դասընթացի մեկնարկին մասնակցել են ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Վիգեն Սարգսյանը, «Տավիթյան» հիմնադրամի նախագահ, բարերար Ասո Տավիթյանը և Ֆլետչերի դիվանագիտության և իրավունքի դպրոցի դեկան Ջեյմս Ստավրիդիսը, ովքեր, կարևորելով նման միջգերատեսչական դասընթացի անցկացումը, հույս են հայտնել, որ այն կլինի շարունակական և հնարավորություն կընձեռի Հայաստանի անվտանգային ոլոտի մասնագետներին կարծիքներ փոխանակել ԱՄՆ-ի առաջատար ուսումնական հաստատություններից մեկի հեղինակավոր փորձագետների հետ:

Դասընթացին ներգրավված են Ֆլետչերի դիվանագիտության և իրավունքի դպրոցի անվտանգության հարցերով ծրագրի դասավանդող պրոֆեսորներ Ռիչարդ Շուլցը և Միշել Մալվեստին: Քննարկվելու են 21-րդ դարում ոչ կանոնավոր ռազմական գործողություններին, ազգային անվտանգության վերաբերյալ որոշումների կայացմանը, հակամարտությունների կարգավորմանը, ճգնաժամերի կառավարմանն ու միջգերատեսչական համագործակցությանն առնչվող տարատեսակ թեմաներ:
