ԱՄՆ փոխնախագահ Մայքլ Փենսը երեքշաբթի օրը հանրությանը ներկայացրել է իր ընտանի կենդանուն՝ Մարլոն Բանդո անունով ճագարին։ Հանրության եւ ընտանի կենդանու ծանոթությունը տեղի է ունեցել զինծառայողների ընտանիքների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ, որին ներկա էր նաեւ նրա կինը՝ Քարենը, հաղորդում է «ՏԱՍՍ»-ը։

«Ծանոթացեք, սա Մարլոն Բանդոն է, եւ Մարլոնն Instagram-ում ունի իր սեփական օգտահաշիվը։ Մենք նրան BOTUS (Bunny of the United States-ի կրճատ տարբերակը; Միացյալ Նահանգների ճագար) ենք անվանում»,-ժպիտով ասել է Փենսը։ «Մարլոնը բավականին հայտնի երիտասարդ է, քանի որ նա համար երկու օդանավով ճամփորդած առաջին ճագարն է (Air Force Two, ԱՄՆ փոխնախագահի ինքնաթիռը)», - հավելել է քաղաքական գործիչը։

Դրանից հետո նա ներկաներին պատմել է, թե ինչպես է ճագարը բնակվում Փենս ընտանիքի տանը, ինչպես նաեւ այն, որ Մարլոն Բանդոն իրենց մոտ մնաց այն բանից հետո, երբ իր դուստրը դպրոցում ֆիլմ էր նկարահանում, որտեղ կենտրոնական դերում այդ ճագարն էր։
