Երեւանի ավագանու ընտրություններին ընտրողների ցածր մասնակցությունը այն բանի արդյունքն է, որ ՀՀԿ ընդդիմախոսները չեն կարողացել համախմբել իրենց ընտրազանգվածը, վստահություն ներշնչել ու նվաճել երեւանցիների սրտերը։ Մայիսի 14-ին Երեւանի ավագանու ընտրությունների քվեարկության ավարտից հետո ՀՀԿ կենտրոնական շտաբում տեղի ունեցած ճեպազրույցի ժամանակ նման տեսակետ է հայտնել ՀՀԿ փոխնախագահ Արմեն Աշոտյանը։

Նրա խոսքով, ցածր մասնակցությունը նաեւ վկայում է այն մասին, որ այդ ընտրությունները քաղաքական են եղել իրենց ձեւով, բայց ոչ բովանդակությամբ՝ երեւանցիները արդեն ընտրում էին ոչ թե պատգամավորների, այլ քաղաքի, դրա տնտեսության, առողջապահության ու կրթության համակարգերի զարգացման ծրագիր։

«Մեզ համար ցածր մասնակցությունը այս ընտրությունների ապաքաղաքական լինելու կարեւորագույն ապացույցներից է։ Չնայած, իհարկե, մենք կցանկանայինք, որ ավելի շատ ընտրողներ մասնակցեին ընտրություններին»,- նշել է Աշոտյանը ։

Խոսելով ընտրախախտումների մասին, որոնք գրանցվել են ընտրությունների ընթացքում, Աշոտյանը նկատել է, որ դրանք ընդամենը մոտ 10-ն են եղել (եւ դրանցից 3-ը գրավել են հասարակական ուշադրություն/, հետեւաբար, հաշվի առնելով, որ ընտրողների թիվը մոտ 350 000 էր, դա չի կարող ստվերել ընտրությունների ընթացքը։
