ԱՄՆ նախագահի փեսա եւ խորհրդական Ջարեդ Քուշները թաքցրել է 2016 թվականին Դոնալդ Թրամփի նախագահական ընտրարշավի ժամանակ եւ դրանից հետո ԱՄՆ-ում ՌԴ դեսպան Սերգեյ Կիսլյակի հետ առնվազն երեք շփման փաստը, փոխանցում է «Ռեյթեր» գործակալությունը՝ վկայակոչելով ամերիկացի 7 նախկին եւ գործող պաշտոնյաներին:

Ավելի վաղ ամերիկյան լրատվամիջոցները հայտնել էին, որ ՀԴԲ-ն «Ռուսաստանի հետ կապերի» գործով ստուգում է Քուշների հարաբերությունները: Ամերիկացի պաշտոնյաների խոսքով՝ քննիչները կարծում են, որ Քուշները հետաքննությանը վերաբերող զգալի տեղեկություոններ ունի:

Գործակալության տեղեկություններով՝ Քուշների թաքցրած շփումները ներառում են 2 հեռախոսազրույց, որոնք նա անցկացրել է 2016-ի ապրիլից նոյեմբեր, հայտնել են 2 աղբյուրները: Անցած տարեվերջից Թրամփի փեսան դարձել է ՀԴԲ-ի ուշադրության օբյեկտը, որը հետաքննում է ՌԴ հետ Թրամփի ընկերությունների ենթադրյալ կապերը, նշել է գործակալությունը:

«Ռեյթերը» հայտնում է, որ Քուշների նկատմամբ ստուգումները սկսվել են, երբ հետախուզական մարմինները հայտնել են ռուսաստանցիների հետ Թրամփի նախկին խորհրդական Մայքլ Ֆլինի շփումների մասին:

Քուշների փաստաբան Ջեմի Գորելիկը գործակալությանը հայտնել է, որ Քուշները նախագահական ընտրարշավի ժամանակ «հազարավոր հեռախոսազրույցներ» է ունեցել եւ չի հիշում նրանք, որոնց մասին հայտնում է գործակալությունը: Գորելիկը նշել է, որ գործակալությունից խնդրել է տվյալները տրամադրել ամսաթվերով, երբ կարող էին ենթադրվող զրույցները տեղի ունեցած լինել:

Washington Post պարբերականը նշել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ում ՌԴ դեսպան Սերգեյ Կիսլյակը Դոնալդ Թրամփի փեսայի հետ քննարկել է մինչեւ երդմնակալությունը Մոսկվայի եւ Վաշինգտոնի միջեւ կապի գաղտնի եւ պաշտպանված ուղու հնարավորությունը: Պարբերականի տեղեկություններով՝ Քուշները նման առաջարկ է կատարել 2016-ի դեկտեմբերին Կիսլյակի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ:
