ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր՝ մայիսի 28-ին, նախագահական նստավայրում թեյի սեղանի շուրջ հյուրընկալել է Մադրիդյան ակումբի եւ «Ավրորա» մրցանակաբաշխության ընտրող հանձնաժողովի ներկայացուցիչներին:

ՀՀ նախագահի մամուլի գրասենյակից հայտնում են, որ նրանց կազմում են Մադրիդյան ակումբի անդամներ, Տանզանիայի նախկին նախագահ Բենջամին Մկապան եւ Բոթսվանայի նախկին նախագահ Ֆեստուս Մոգայեն, ովքեր հրավիրված են մասնակցելու այսօր Երեւանում կայանալիք «Ավրորա» մրցանակի շնորհման արարողությանը, ինչպես նաեւ՝ Մեքսիկայի նախկին նախագահ Էռնեստո Սեդիլյոն, ով «Ավրորա» մրցանակաբաշխության ընտրող հանձնաժողովի անդամ է:

Հանրապետության նախագահը ողջունել է հյուրերին Հայաստանում, նշելով, որ նրանց մասնակցությունը «Ավրորա» մրցանակի շնորհման արարողությանը խոսում է այն մասին, որ տարեցտարի ավելանում է «Ավրորա»-ի միջազգային հեղինակությունը, եւ որ նրա գաղափարախոսությունը իրավամբ հիմնված է համամարդկային արժեքների վրա: Ընդգծելով, որ առաջադեմ մարդկությունը հսկայական ջանքեր է ներդնում աշխարհում կայունության, խաղաղության, համերաշխության հաստատման գործում, նախագահը միաժամանակ ցավով է նշել, որ այսօր էլ մարդիկ պարբերաբար ականատես են լինում զանգվածային սպանությունների եւ կոտորածների, այլատյացության քարոզչության, կրոնական, ազգային, լեզվական տարբերակմամբ պայմանավորված խտրականության, մշակութային ժառանգության նպատակային ոչնչացման:

​«Սա հուշում է մեզ, որ այդպիսի հանցագործությունների դեմ պայքարին պետք է նոր թափ հաղորդել եւ անպայման խրախուսել այն մարդկանց, ովքեր անմիջական պայքար են մղում նման հանցագործությունների դեմ:

Մենք շնորհակալ ենք ձեզ անձնապես՝ շնորհակալ ենք, որ դուք ձեր գործունեությամբ նպաստում եք համամարդկային այդ պայքարին»,-ասել է նախագահ Սարգսյանը՝ ընդգծելով, որ մեծագույն հարգանքի եւ հիացմունքի են արժանի ինչպես հանդիպման մասնակիցները, այնպես էլ «Ավրորա» մրցանակի բոլոր հավակնորդները, որոնց բոլորի պատմություններն էլ, որպես բացառիկ խիզախության եւ անձնազոհության օրինակներ, շատ հուզիչ են, միեւնույն ժամանակ՝ ոգեշնչող ու քաջալերող։

Զրույցի ընթացքում Սերժ Սարգսյանն ու Մադրիդյան ակումբի եւ «Ավրորա» մրցանակաբաշխության ընտրող հանձնաժողովի ներկայացուցիչները մտքեր են փոխանակել Հայաստանի արտաքին եւ ներքին քաղաքականության առաջնահերթությունների, ԼՂ հիմնախնդրի կարգավորման գործընթացի, միջազգային արդի մի շարք խնդիրների, այլ երկրների եւ միջազգային կազմակերպությունների հետ Հայաստանի համագործակցության ներկայիս մակարդակի եւ հարաբերությունների հեռանկարի շուրջ:

Նախագահի նստավայրում հյուրընկալված փորձառու պետական եւ հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչները կիսվել են նաեւ իրենց երկրներում տարբեր ոլորտներում իրականացված բարեփոխումների փորձով:
