 ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը դիմել Է երկրի Գերագույն դատարանին՝ պահանջելով վերականգնել ներգաղթի ոլորտում իր հրամանագրի գործողությունը, մասնավորապես, առավելապես մի շարք մուսուլմանական պետություններից երկիր քաղաքացիների մուտքի արգելքը: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել Է ԱՄՆ-ի արդարադատության նախարարության պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Սառա Ֆլորեսը: 
«Մենք խնդրել ենք Գերագույն դատարանին՝ քննության առնել այդ կարեւոր գործը, եւ մենք վստահ ենք, որ նախագահ Թրամփի հրամանագիրը համապատասխանում Է ահաբեկչությունից երկրի ժողովրդի պաշտպանությունն ապահովելու նրա օրինական լիազորություններին,-Ֆլորեսի խոսքը մեջբերել Է ABC հեռուստաընկերությունը:- Նախագահը պարտավոր չԷ պետության տարածքում ընդունել այն երկրներից ժամանող մարդկանց, որոնք հովանավորում են ահաբեկչությունն այնքան ժամանակ, քանի դեռ ինքը չի համարի, որ նրանց նկատմամբ իրականացվել են համապատասխան ստուգումներ, եւ որ նրանք սպառնալիք չեն ներկայացնում Միացյալ Նահանգների անվտանգությանը»: 
Ավելի վաղ համերկրային դատարաններն արդեն երկու անգամ որոշում են կայացրել ներգաղթի ոլորտում միջոցառումների խստացման վերաբերյալ Թրամփի հրամանագրերի արգելափակման մասին: Յոթ մուսուլմանական երկրներից (Իրանից, Իրաքից, Լիբիայից, Սոմալիից, Սուդանից, Սիրիայի եւ Եմենից) քաղաքացիների ԱՄՆ մուտքի 90-օրյա արգելք սահմանող հրամանագրի վերաբերյալ նման որոշում Է կայացրել Սիեթլի (Վաշինգտոնի նահանգ) դաշնային դատավորը, իսկ երբ փոփոխություններ կատարվեցին (ցուցակից բացառվեց Իրաքը), հրամանագիրն արգելափակեց Հոնոլուլուի (Հավայիի նահանգ) դաշնային դատարանը, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ գործակալությունը:
