Հայկական արտադրության ֆիլմերին շատ շուտով կմիանա եւս մեկ հոգեբանական մելոդրամա: «Իմ անցյալի դիմանկարը»` այսպես է կոչվում ֆիլմը, որն ունի ստեղծման  յուրահատուկ պատմություն: Ֆիլմի սյուժեն իրական է, այն մի մարդու մասին է, ով երկար ժամանակ կուտակելով համապատասխան գումար, ի վերջո դիմել է ռեժիսոր Ֆիլիպ Պողոսյանին, ու խնդրել նկարել իր կյանքի պատմությունը: Ի դեպ` նա ստանձնել է նաեւ ֆիլմի պրոդյուսերի աշխատանքն ու հետեւել է նկարահանման ողջ ընթացքին:

Life.panorama.am-ի հետ զրույցում ֆիլմի ռեժիսորը, ով նաեւ մարմնավորել է գլխավոր հերոսին, պատմել է այս աշխատանքի ստեղծման մասին:

«Ֆիլմի գաղափարը Դավիթ Կիրակոսյանինն է, այն մարդունը, ում կյանքը փորձել ենք էկրանավորել: Իհարկե, ֆիլիմի ընթացքում նրա կյանքի պատմությունը գեղարվեստականացվել է, որոշ բաներ փոփոխությունների ենթարկվել, քանի որ եթե չլինեին ֆիլմի համար անհրաժեշտ այդ փոփոխությունները, ապա հետաքրքիր չէր լինի: Ինքս զբաղվեցի սցենարով, բայց այն գրեցի Դավիթի հետ շատ երկար շփվելուց հետո: Փորձել եմ փոխանցել այն բոլոր հույզերն ու ապրումները, որ նա է ունեցել իր կյանքում պատահած խնդիրների ժամանակ: Ի դեպ` ֆիլմում պահպանվել են իրական մարդկանց անունները եւ դա  միտումնավոր ենք արել»,- պատմեց ռեժիսորը:
