Հունաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունը դատապարտել է Ստամբուլի Սուրբ Սոֆիայի (Այա Սոֆիա) տաճարում Ղուրան կարդալու և մուսուլմանական աղոթք հնչեցնելու փաստը: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին հայտարարությունը տեղադրված է Հունաստանի ԱԳՆ պաշտոնական կայքում:

«Մենք դատապարտում ենք Սուրբ Սոֆիայում Թուրքիայի կրոնական գործերի վարչության ղեկավարի ներկայությամբ Ղուրանի ընթերցումն ու աղոթքի հնչեցումը, որը հեռարձակվել է Թուրքիայի հանրային հեռուստաընկերությամբ»,- ասվում է հայտարարության մեջ:

Հունաստանի արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչությունից հայտնել են, որ Սուրբ Սոֆիայի տաճարը ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՈ-ի կողմից ճանաչված պատմական ժառանգության մաս է, հետևաբար Ղուրանի ընթերցումների, աղոթք ասելու և այլ քայլերի միջոցով այն մզկիթի վերածելու փորձերը վիրավորում են ողջ միջազգային հանրությանը, որը պետք է արձագանքի կատարվածին:

«Սա բացարձակապես անընդունելի մարտահրավեր է ողջ աշխարհի քրիստոնյաների կրոնական զգացմունքներին և բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր հարգում են մարդկության մշակութային ժառանգությունը, և դա տեղի է ունենում այն ժամանակահատվածում, որտեղ միջկրոնական երկխոսությունը պետք է խրախուսվի, այլ ոչ թե ոտնահարվի:

Մենք կոչ ենք անում Թուրքիային դրսևորել ժամանակակից և ժողովրդավար երկրի պահվածք, պահպանել Սուրբ Սոֆիայի էկումենիկ բնույթը՝ հարգելով այս համաշխարհային հուշարձանի հնագույն ավանդույթը»,- ասվում է Հունաստանի ԱԳՆ հայտարարության մեջ:
