Ամերիկյան The Boston Globe-ը հոդված է հրապարակել Բոսթոնի հայկական համայնքի ներկայացուցիչների մասին և ներկայացրել հայկական ավանդույթները:

Թերթի լրագրող Սեմ Հիերշտայները հյուրընկալվել է Բոսթոնում բնակվող Նազարեթ և Լենա Տեր Գևորգյանների՝ Լեքսինգթոնի տուն, որտեղ գտնվում է քաղաքի եզակի թոնիրներից մեկը: «Այն իր եզակիությամբ և ջերմությամբ ողջունում է տան հյուրերին: Նազոն և Լենան ընթրիք էին կազմակերպել իրենց ընկերների հետ, որոնց  թվում էին Բոսթոնի հայ-ամերիկյան հանրության անդամները՝  ակտիվիստուհի Կարոլին Մուգարը, ում հայրը Star Market-ի հիմնադիրն է, գործարար և բիոտեխնոլոգիայի ոլորտի ներդրող Նուբար Աֆեյանը, Մասաչուսեթսի հայ-ամերիկյան եկեղեցիների խորհրդի նախագահ Էնթոնի Բարսամյանը և այլք:

Տեր Գևորգյանները բազմիցս այս խմբի համար նման ընթրիքներ են կազմակերպել, ուստի նրանց տուն երեկոյան հոսքը լավ ավանդույթ է: Ընթրիքից մեկ ժամ առաջ թոնրի շուրջ լսում էինք Բարսամյանի՝ Հայաստան կատարած վերջին այցի պատմությունը: Հավաքական ձայներ լսվեցին, երբ նա բացեց հայտնի Արարատ 20 տարեկան կոնյակի շիշը, որը նաև Ուինսթոն Չերչիլի սիրելի խմիչքն էր»,- գրել է հոդվածի հեղինակը:

Հալեպում ծնված բժիշկ Նազարեթը, ով կրթություն ստացել է Հայաստանում, այնուհետև 1990 թվականին տեղափոխվել է ԱՄՆ, նշել է, որ թոնիրը մշտապես եղել է հայկական գյուղերի հավաքատեղին, քանի դեռ խորհրդային տարիներին չէր տարածվել էլեկտրաէներգիան և բնական գազը: «Ամեն անգամ, երբ ես այն օգտագործում եմ, մտածում եմ, թե ինչպես կարող էի այստեղ գոյատևել առանց իմ ընկերների»,- ասել է Նազարեթը:

Հոդվածի հեղինակն իր հիացմունք է հայտնել թոնիրում պատրաստված լավաշի և խորովածի համից, ինչպես նաև հայկական այլ ուտեստներից: «Բոստոնահայ ամերիկացիները զարմանահրաշ են, որոնց թվում են՝ Դևիդ Բազիրգանը՝ Արևելյան Քեմբրիջից, Սեդա Դակեսյանը՝ Բելմոնտից, ով ունի սրճարան, ինչպես նաև Նինա և Րաֆֆի Ֆեստեկյանները, ովքեր Բոստոնում այս տարեվերջին բացելու են հայ-լիբանանյան ռեստորան»,- գրել է Հիերշտայները:
