 Հարավային Կորայի նախագահ Մուն Չժե Ինը Կորեական թերակղզու խաղաղ միավորումը «ոչ փոխզիջումային սկզբունք» Է համարել «կայուն զարգացմանն աջակցելու եւ ապագա սերունդների բարեկեցության համար», բայց միեւնույն ժամանակ ընդգծել Է անվտանգության խիստ միջոցների անհրաժեշտությունը ԿԺԴՀ-ի կողմից զինված սադրանքներին դիմակայելու համար:

Այս կարծիքը Հարավային Կորեայի առաջնորդը հայտնել Է երկու երկրների միավորման հարցերին նվիրված գիտաժողովի բացման առթիվ ողջույնի խոսքի ընթացքում, ինչի մասին հայտնել Է «Ռյոնհապ» գործակալությունը, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը: «Մեր երկրի, աշխարհում միակ բաժանված ազգի համար խաղաղ միավորումն ընտրության առարկա չԷ, այլ ոչ փոխզիջումային սկզբունք կայուն զարգացմանն աջակցելու եւ ապագա սերունդների բարեկեցության համար»,-գործակալությունը մեջբերում Է Մուն Չժե Ինի խոսքը:

Հարավային Կորեայի նախագահը հավելել Է, որ, «խաղաղ միավորման սկզբունքին համապատասխան, մեզ անվտանգության խիստ միջոցներ են անհրաժեշտ ԿԺԴՀ-ի կողմից ցանկացած զինված սադրանքների դիմակայելու համար՝ արտակարգ իրավիճակներում արդյունավետ կառավարման, Հարավային Կորեայի եւ ԱՄՆ-ի ամուր դաշինքի … եւ, ինչը գլխավորն Է՝ Կորեական թերակղզուն վերաբերող հարցերի լուծման գործում առաջատար դեր խաղալու մեր ձգտման օգնությամբ»:

Մոտավորապես մեկ շաբաթ առաջ Մուն Չժե Ինը հույս Էր հայտնել, որ մինչեւ տարվա վերջը կկարողանա հանդիպում ունենալ ԿԺԴՀ-ի ղեկավար Կիմ Չեն Ընի հետ, եթե բարենպաստ պայմաններ ստեղծվեն: Կորեական երկու պետությունների հանդիպումները երկու անգամ անցկացվել են Փենյանում՝ 2000 եւ 2007 թվականներին Հյուսիսային Կորեայի նախկին ղեկավար Կիմ Չեն Իրի՝ երկրի ներկայիս ղեկավարի հոր օրոք: 2007 թվականի հանդիպումն առայժմ վերջինն Է, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
