Բոլորս գիտենք՝ որքան վտանգավոր է փոքրիկ երեխային անգամ մեկ րոպե մենակ թողնելը, հատկապես լոգարանում, իսկ այս մոր արածն արդարացում չունի։

Հունիսի 13-ին Տեխասի ոստիկանությունը ժամանեց 21-ամյա Չեյեն Սամեր Սթակիի տուն այն բանից հետո, երբ նա իր դստերը 20 րոպե մենակ էր թողել լոգարանում՝ հոսող ջրի տակ։ Չնայած բժիշկները շտապել են դեպքի վայր, ցավոք, արդեն շատ ուշ է եղել։ Ընդամենը 6 ամսական Զայկա Հերնանդեսը մահացել է հիվանդանոց հասնելուն պես։

Փոքրիկի մայրը՝ Սթակին, քննիչներին ասել է, որ երեխային մենակ է թողել միայն մի քանի րոպեով, բացել է Facebook-ի Messenger հավելվածն ու ցրվել, մոռացել երեխայի մասին, հետո նրա մյուս երեխաներից մեկը գտել է Զայլային լոգարանում դեմքի վրա լողալիս։

Այնուամենայնիվ, ոստիկանությանը հաջողվել է պարզել, որ նա առնվազն 18 րոպե Facebook-ով խոսել է երկու հոգու հետ, մինչ իր փոքրիկը խեղդվում էր լոգարանում։

Սթաքին ձերբակալվել է. նա մեղադրվում է երեխային վնասելու միջև։ Նրա մյուս երեք երեխաները հանձնվել են խնամակալության։

Սթաքիի ընտանիքն ասում է, որ նա լավ մայր է, ով պարզապես այդ օրը սարսափելի սխալ է գործել, բայց նա ռիսկի է ենթարկել իր երեխայի կյանքը՝ թեկուզ մեկ րոպե սենյակից դուրս գալով։
