Экс-участник дуэта «Руки вверх!» Алексей Потехин рассказал, почему на самом деле распалась группа

45-летний Алексей Потехин, музыкант и бэк-вокалист знаменитого распавшегося дуэта «Руки вверх!», дал новое интервью одному из российских СМИ и поведал о том, как живет и чем занимается. 

Об одном из участников суперпопулярной в 90-е группы «Руки вверх!», Алексее Потехине, в последнее время мало что известно — второй из них, вокалист дуэта Сергей Жуков, гораздо активнее посещает светские мероприятия и рассказывает о своей личной жизни поклонникам в соцсетях. Даже на недавней премии Муз-ТВ Сергей получил награду в номинации «Лучшая песня пятнадцатилетия» (за «Крошку мою») в гордом одиночестве, поднявшись на сцену «Олимпийского» без Алексея. Оказалось, что музыканты уже давно не дружат, и личные разногласия послужили главной причиной распада «Руки вверх!». «Вот все меня спрашивают, почему я ушел. Я вам отвечу: потому что мы все стали взрослыми. Но Сергей так не считал, ему было комфортно. Ему комфортно и сейчас. Он всегда хотел славы, а я нет. Общаемся ли мы? Спросите у него. Хотя вы вряд ли ему дозвонитесь. Он же VIP», — заявил Потехин в интервью порталу Sobesednik.ru. Из других высказываний Алексея в том же интервью становится ясно, что он с презрением относится и к Сергею, и к другим представителям отечественного шоу-бизнеса. После ухода из «Руки вверх!» Потехин не забросил любимое дело — сейчас он гастролирует по России с собственной группой, которую назвал «Поднимите руки вверх», и пишет музыку для других исполнителей.
