Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը հեղինակավոր France 24 հեռուստաընկերությանը տված հարցազրույցում հայտարարել է, որ չի զղջում Գերմանիայի իշխանություններին ֆաշիստ և նացիստ անվանելու համար:

«Նրանց պահվածքն ամբողջովին նացիստական բնույթի է, այլ կերպ ինչպե՞ս կարող ենք բացատրել այս ամենը: Մենք պետք է թույլ չտանք նրանց նման պահվածք դրսևորել», - ասել է Էրդողանը:

Հիշեցնենք, որ Բեռլինի և Անկարայի միջև հարաբերությունները սրվել են Ստամբուլում գերմանական պարբերականի թուրք լրագրող Դենիզ Յուջելի ձերբակալությունից ու կալանավորումից հետո: Նա թուրքական իշխանությունների կողմից կասկածվում է «ահաբեկչական կազմակերպությանը հարելու, տվյալների անօրինական օգտագործման, ահաբեկչության քարոզչության համար»: Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Անգելա Մերկելը պահանջել է Անկարայից ազատ արձակել Յուջելին։

Լարվածության ֆոնին Գերմանիայում չեղարկվել են Թուրքիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Մևլութ Չավուշօղլուի, արդարադատության նախարար Բեքիր Բոզդաղի և էկոնոմիկայի նախարար Նիհաթ Զեյբեկչիի ելույթներն ու հանդիպումները տեղի թուրքական համայնքի հետ:

Իր հերթին, Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանն, ի պատասխան Բեքիր Բոզդաղի` տեղի թուրքական համայնքի հետ հանդիպման չեղարկմանը, Բեռլինի ներկայիս քաղաքականությունը համեմատել էր «անցյալում նացիստների գործողությունների» հետ։

Էրդողանը նաև խոսել է վերջերս Գերմանիայի ԱԳՆ-ի կողմից տեղի թուրքական համայնքի հետ հանդիպելու թույլտվություն չստանալու մասին ու դատապարտել Գերմանիային:

«Այս ամենը ցույց է տալիս, թե որքան ժողովրդավար են նրանք»,- ասել է Էրդողանը՝ հավելելով, որ չնայած այդ ամենին՝ նա կմասնակցի Գերմանիայում անցկացվելիք G20 գագաթնաժողովին, քանի որ այն կարևոր նշանակություն ունի ամբողջ աշխարհի համար:
