 Եվրախորհրդարանի համանախագահներ Դեյվիդ ՄքՔալիստերը, Սաջադ Քարիմը եւ Ռեբեկա Հարմսը ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական շփման գծում վերջին օրերի լարվածության վերաբերյալ հանդես են եկել համատեղ հայտարարությամբ:

«Եվրախորհրդարանը մեծապես  մտահոգված է այս շաբաթվա ընթացքում Հայաստանի եւ Ադրբեջանի միջեւ  վերսկսված ռազմական գործողության կապակցությամբ: Ինչպես ավելի վաղ նշել էինք, մենք հավատում ենք, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտությունը չունի ռազմական լուծում: Փոխարենը, հակամարտությունը պետք է ունենա միանգամայն շուտափույթ քաղաքական լուծում, որը համապատասխանեցված կլինի  միջազգային իրավունքին: Սա միակ ճանապարհն է դադարեցնել բնակիչների, ինչպես նաեւ զինվորների կորուստները երկու կողմերում էլ»,- ասված է հայտարարության մեջ:

 Համանախագահները նաեւ նշել են, որ լիովին սատարում են ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների ջանքերն ու առաջարկները, եւ ընդգծել, որ Հայաստանը եւ Ադրբեջանը պետք է գտնեն քաղաքական կամք բանակցություններում առաջխաղացում գրանցելու համար, որպեսզի միջնորդները հաջողություն ունենան այս հարցում:
