Արցախի Հանրապետության Ազգային ժողովի պատգամավորներ Դավիթ Մելքումյանի և Լյուդմիլա Բարսեղյանի աշխատանքային այցը Լիտվայի Հանրապետություն շարունակվում է: Լիտվայի Սեյմում նրանք հանդիպել են Հայաստան-Լիտվա խորհրդարանական բարեկամության խմբի անդամների հետ, որի ընթացքում քննարկվել են խորհրդարանական ձևաչափով փորձի փոխանակման հեռանկարները, տարածաշրջանային և միջազգային անվտանգության հարցեր, երկուստեք կարևորվել է Լիտվայի հանրային-քաղաքական շրջանակներում Արցախի վերաբերյալ իրազեկվածության ապահովումը։ 

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին Արցախի Հանրապետության ԱԺ մամուլի ծառայությունից, Հայաստան-Լիտվա բարեկամության խմբի նախագահ Պովիլաս Ուրբշիսը, խոսելով ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության մասին, ընդգծել է դրա խաղաղ կարգավորման անհարժեշտությունը՝ տարածաշրջանային և միջազգային անվտանգության համատեքստում։

Արցախի Հանրապետության Ազգային ժողովի պատգամավորներ Լյուդմիլա Բարսեղյանը և Դավիթ Մելքումյանը  լիտվացի գործընկերներին են ներկայացրել Արցախի ժողովրդավարական ինստիտուտների կայացման գործընթացին, այդ ուղղությամբ տարվող շարունակական գործունեությանը և ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական զորքերի շփման գոտում իրավիճակը պարբերաբար սրելու միջոցով Ադրբեջանի կողմից խաղաղ կարգավորման գործընթացն ամեն կերպ խոչընդոտելու մասին տեղեկատվությունը: Հատուկ ուշադրություն է հրավիրվել միջազգային կազմակերպությունների կողմից հասցեական հայտարարություններին, որոնք կարող են զսպել իրավիճակի հետագա բարդացումը:

Հուլիսի 5-ին Արցախի խորհրդարանականները Վարենայի քաղաքապետարանում հանդիպել են նաև Լիտվայի Հանրապետություն-Արցախի Հանրապետություն բարեկամության շրջանակի անդամներ, Վարենայի քաղաքապետ Ալգիս Կաշետայի և բարեկամության շրջանակի համանախագահ Դալիա Կուոդիտեյի հետ:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են Ստեփանակերտի և Վարենայի քաղաքապետարանների միջև հնարավոր համագործակցությանն առնչվող մի շարք հարցեր: Մասնավորապես կարևորվել է փոխադարձ այցելությունների կազմակերպման անհրաժեշտությունը՝ զբոսաշրջության զարգացման և հանրային իրազեկվածության մակարդակի բարձրացման նպատակով։ Միջքաղաքային համագործակցության ուղղություններից առանձնացվել են քաղաքային տնտեսության, զբոսաշրջության խթանման, մշակութային կապերի հաստատման և այլ ոլորտներ։

Հանդիպման ավարտին Լիտվայի Հանրապետություն-Արցախի Հանրապետություն բարեկամական խմբի անդամներ Ալգիս Կաշետային և Դալիա Կուոդիտեյին են հանձնվել Արցախի Հանրապետության Նախագահի հրամանագրով շնորհված «Երախտագիտություն» մեդալները։

Նույն օրը տեղի է ունեցել Արցախի պատգամավորների հանդիպումը Լիտվայի հայերի միության նախագահ Արա Թունյանի և տեղի հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչների հետ։

Զրույցի ընթացքում կարևորվել են փոխադարձ այցելությունները և տարբեր ոլորտներում Արցախ-Սփյուռք համագործակցության հեռանկարները:
