Տիգրան Պետրոսյանի անվան շախմատի տանն այսօր տեղի է ունեցել Հայաստանի շախմատային ֆեդերացիայի հաշվետու-ընտրական կոնֆերանսը, որը վարել է Հայաստանի շախմատային ֆեդերացիայի նախագահ, Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը: Այս մասին հայտնում են Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից:

Մինչ կոնֆերանսի աշխատանքները սկսելը ներկաները մեկ րոպե լռությամբ հարգել են անցած չորս տարիների ընթացքում կյանքից հեռացած ֆեդերացիայի իրենց գործընկերների՝ Աշոտ Անաստասյանի, Գագիկ Հովհաննիսյանի, Ստեփան Ավագյանի, Արմեն Նիկողոսյանի, Էդուարդ Մնացականյանի, Ռոբերտ Բունիաթյանի և Ալբերտ Արուտյունովի հիշատակը:

Օրակարգի շրջանակներում կոնֆերանսն ամփոփել է հաշվետու ժամանակահատվածում՝ 2013-2017 թվականներին ֆեդերացիայի կատարած աշխատանքները, նախանշել հետագա անելիքները, ինչպես նաև լսել վերստուգիչ հանձնաժողովի հաշվետվությունը և անցկացրել ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի ու նախագահության կազմի ընտրություններ: Քննարկվել են նաև ընթացիկ հարցեր:

Հաշվետու ժամանակահատվածում կատարված աշխատանքները ներկայացրել է ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի առաջին տեղակալ Սմբատ Լպուտյանը: Քննարկման արդյունքում այն գնահատվել է դրական: Վերստուգիչ հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Արմեն Գևորգյանը ներկայացրել է հանձնաժողովի հաշվետվությունը, որը հաստատվել է կոնֆերանսի պատգամավորների կողմից:

Այնուհետև տեղի են ունեցել ֆեդերացիայի ղեկավար մարմինների՝ նախագահի և նախագահության կազմի ընտրությունները: Հայաստանի շախմատային ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի պաշտոնում միաձայն վերընտրվել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը: Կոնֆերանսի պատվիրակները քննարկել և հաստատել են ֆեդերացիայի նախագահության և վերստուգիչ հանձնաժողովի կազմերը:
Ընտրություններից հետո կայացել է Հայաստանի շախմատային ֆեդերացիայի նորընտիր նախագահության առաջին նիստը:

Նախագահությունը, ֆեդերացիայի կանոնադրության համաձայն, հաստատել է նախագահի տեղակալների, գործադիր տնօրենի, գլխավոր քարտուղարի թեկնածությունները, ովքեր մտնում են ֆեդերացիայի խորհրդի կազմի մեջ: 

Ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի առաջին տեղակալ է ընտրվել Սմբատ Լպուտյանը:

Հայաստանի շախմատային ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի տեղակալներ են ընտրվել Երևանի քաղաքապետ, Երևանի շախմատի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահ Տարոն Մարգարյանը, ինչպես նաև Լևոն Յոլյանը: Ֆեդերացիայի գործադիր տնօրեն է ընտրվել Հրաչիկ Թավադյանը, գլխավոր քարտուղար՝ Միքայել Անդրիասյանը: Հայաստանի շախմատային ֆեդերացիայի պատվավոր նախագահ է վերընտրվել Վանիկ Զաքարյանը:

Նիստում հաստատվել են նաև ֆեդերացիայի հանձնաժողովների ցուցակը և հանձնաժողովների նախագահների թեկնածությունները:

Հայաստանի շախմատային ֆեդերացիայի նախագահ, Հանրապետության Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը Ֆեդերացիայի անունից այսօր Տիգրան Պետրոսյանի անվան ոսկե մեդալով պարգևատրել է ֆեդերացիայի երկու վաստակաշատ վետերաններին՝ Յուրի Առուստամյանին և Ալյոշա Խաչատրյանին:
