Ինֆորմացիոն տեխնոլոգիաների ձեռնարկությունների միության (ԻՏՁՄ) ջանքերով և շվեյցարիահայ բարերար Գագիկ Սարգսյանի աջակցությամբ Արցախի Շահումյան շրջանի Քարվաճառ քաղաքի միջնակարգ դպրոցում հիմնվել է «Արմաթ» ինժեներական լաբորատորիա: Քարվաճառի և հարակից բնակավայրերի դպրոցականներն լաբորատորիայում ստանում են ժամանակակից տեխնոլոգիական կրթություն. սովորում ռոբոտաշինության և ծրագրավորման հիմունքներ, մասնակցում մի շարք խրախուսական մրցույթների և միջոցառումների, հանդիպում ՏՏ ոլորտի ներկայացուցիչներին և այլն:

Քարվաճառի ինժեներական լաբորատորիան թվով 7-րդն է Արցախում: Ինժեներական լաբորատորիաներ են գործում նաև Ստեփանակերտում, Շուշիում, Վանքում, Ճարտարում, Բերձորում և Վուրգավանում, որտեղ սովորում են ավելի քան 150 դպրոցական: Հայաստանում արդեն գործում է 210 լաբորատորիա, որտեղ սովորում են շուրջ 5000 դպրոցական: «Արմաթ» ինժեներական լաբորատորիաները գործում են անվճար հիմունքներով:

Քարվաճառի դեռևս երկու շաբաթ գործող «Արմաթ» ինժեներական լաբորատորիայի սաներից մի քանիսը մասնակցել են վերջերս Հանքավանում կայացած «Արմաթ» տեխնոլոգիական ճամբարին:

Այս տարի «Արմաթ» տեխնոլոգիական և «ԴիջիՔեմփ» նորարական ճամբարներին մասնակցել են շուրջ 350 դպրոցական ինչպես Հայաստանի բոլոր մարզերից, այնպես էլ արտերկրից (ԱՄՆ, Կանադա, ՌԴ): Ի դեպ, քանի որ Վարդենիս-Մարտակերտ ճանապարհից դեպի Քարվաճառ տանող ճանապարհին որևէ ցուցանակ չկար, ճամբարի մասնակիցների նախաձեռնությամբ տեղադրվել է համապատասխան ցուցանակը:

Հավելենք, որ անցյալ տարի «Արմաթ» տեխնոլոգիական ճամբարի մասնակիցներն իրենց ստեղծած եռաչափ տպիչները նվիրել են Շուշիի, Վանքի և Ճարտարի դպրոցներին:
