Եղվարդում տեղի ունեցավ Սուրբ Սարգիս նորակառույց եկեղեցու օծման արարողությունը

Եղվարդ քաղաքում հուլիսի 14-ին տեղի ունեցավ Սուրբ Սարգիս նորակառույց եկեղեցու օծման արարողությունը: Միջոցառմանը ներկա էր ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը:  

Եղվարդի Սուրբ Սարգիս եկեղեցում Կոտայքի թեմի առաջնորդ,  գերաշնորհ տեր Առաքել արքեպիսկոպոս Քարամյանի կողմից կատարվեց նորակառույց եկեղեցու օծման արարողությունը, որից հետո մատուցվեց անդրանիկ պատարագը: Եկեղեցին կառուցվել է Արտյոմ և Գուրգեն Խաչատրյանների  հովանու ներքո: 

Եղվարդի սուրբ Սարգիս եկեղեցու  հոգևոր հովիվ տեր Հովսեփ քահանա Ալեքսանյանի խոսքով՝ եկեղեցին անհրաժեշտություն էր համայնքի համար, որովհետև Եղվարդ քաղաքում գտնվող 14 դարի կառուցված եկեղեցի-մատուռն իր չափերով բավական փոքր էր և չէր կարող բավարարել քաղաքի  և տարածաշրջանի հոգևոր կարիքները: 

«Այս եկեղեցին համալրեց հոգևոր կառույցների  շարքը տարածաշրջանում և վստահ եմ, որ պետք է խթանիչ ուժ հանդիսանա  տարածաշրջանում Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու քարոզչության տարածմանը: Ժողովուրդը պետք է ավելի կապված լինի Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցուն՝ շնորհիվ այս եկեղեցու մատուցված արարողությունների, ինչպես նաև եկեղեցուն կից գտնվող կիրակնօրյա դպրոցի, որտեղ հաճախող երեխաները հոգևոր  կրթությունը, զարգացվածությունը կստանան այս կառույցում»,- ընդգծեց Հովսեփ քահանա Ալեքսանյանը: 

Նա նշեց, որ շինարարությունը տևել է վեց տարի, հիմքը հանդիսացել է եկեղեցում կից գտնվող Սուրբ Սարգիս մատուռը: 

«Այն բավականին հին մատուռ  է՝ իր պատմությամբ: Ինչպես տեղացիներն են պատմում,  նախկինում քաղաքի մուտքը եղել է մատուռի հարևանությամբ  և քաղաք տանող առաջին շինությունն է եղել: Այս է պատճառը, որ եկեղեցին այստեղ է կառուցվել»,-նշեց նա: 

Եկեղեցու ճարտարապետ Հրաչյա Գասպարյանը ասաց, որ եկեղեցին ներկայացնում է ուղղանկյուն հատակագծով կենտրոնագմբեթ կառուցվածք և պահպանվել են հայ ճարտարապետական բոլոր էլեմենտները:
