ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի հանդիպումն այս տարվա աշնանը չի բացառվում: Այս մասին «Արմենիա» հեռուստաընկերության «Ռ-Էվոլուցիա» հաղորդման եթերում խոսել է Նախագահ Սարգսյանը: Հանդիպման մասին նախնական պայմանավորվածություն է ձեռք բերվել մի քանի շաբաթ առաջ՝ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների այցի ընթացքում։

«Նրանք հարցրեցին բարձր մակարդակով հանդիպում կազմակերպելու վերաբերյալ մեր դիրքորոշման մասին, մենք պատասխանեցինք հետևյալը.  առանձնապես ակնկալիքներ չունենք այդպիսի հանդիպումներից, որովհետև այդպիսի հանդիպումները պետք է նախապատրաստվեն, իսկ նախապատրաստական աշխատանքը ենթադրում է կոնկրետ առաջարկությունների մասին դիրքորոշում, այդ աշխատանքը չկա, բայց այնուհանդերձ մենք դեմ չենք որևէ հանդիպման և մշտապես պատրաստ ենք հանդիպելու։ Ակնկալիքներս այդ հանդիպումից մեծ չեն, և այդ հանդիպումը կարող է կայանալ աշնանը»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ասել է նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը։

Նախագահն ընդգծել է, որ ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմից հետո հայկական կողմի սկզբունքային դիրքորոշումների մեջ որևէ նոր մոտեցում չկա:

«Դիրքորոշումների մեջ փոփոխություն՝ գոնե հայկական դիրքորոշման մեջ փոփոխություն ես չեմ ենթադրում։ Ինչ վերաբերում է զիջումներին, վերջին 20 տարիների ընթացքում մենք որևէ կերպ, որևէ տեղ, որևէ ձևով չենք խոսել զիջումների մասին։ Մենք մշտապես խոսել ենք և հիմա էլ շարունակում ենք խոսել խնդրի լուծման փոխզիջումային տարբերակի մասին։ Սրանք տարբեր բաներ են։ Եվ ես վստահ եմ, որ եթե այս խնդիրը, եթե 20 տարի էլ լուծում չստանա, ապա հայկական կողմի մոտ երբեք չի լինի ցանկություն զիջումների միջոցով գնալ իրավիճակի թեթևացման։ Որովհետև սա կործանարար ճանապարհ է և սա երբեք խնդիրները չի կարող լուծել»,-հավելել է նախագահը:

Խոսելով հայկական կողմից դիրքորոշման մեջ փոփոխություններ չլինելու պատճառների մասին՝ ՀՀ Նախագահը մի քանի սկզբունք է առանձնացրել.  «Ակնհայտ է հայկական կողմի ցանկությունը, հայկական կողմի նպատակը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի բնակչության ինքնորոշման՝ ի վերուստ տրված իրավունք է, միջազգային կառույցների կանոնադրությամբ նախատեսված իրավունք է, միջազգային իրավունքի կողմից ընդունված սկզբունք է, և այն պետք է իրացվի։ Սա մեկ կարևորագույն կետ։ Երկրորդ կետը. Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետությունը պետք է ունենա ցամաքային սահման Հայաստանի Հանրապետության հետ։ Սա երկրորդ սկզբունքային դիրքորոշումն է։ Եվ երրորդ սկզբունքային դիրքորոշումը՝ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետությունը պետք է ունենա անվտանգության հուսալի երաշխիքներ։ Եվ այս 20 տարիների ընթացքում մենք խոսել ենք միայն այս խնդիրների շուրջ»:

Նախագահը շեշտել է, որ Ղարաբաղի մասնակցությունն սկզբունքների շուրջ ձևավորվող փաստաթղթին պարտադիր է։
