 Ով կարծում է, որ «Իսկանդերը» զուտ բարոյական կամ հոգեբանական նշանակություն ունի, նա չի էլ հասկանում՝ ինչ է «Իսկանդերը»: Երբ իմանա, կհասկանա՝ ինչ կործանարար ուժ ունի այդ զենքը. այս մասին «Արմենիա» հեռուստաընկերության «Ռ-Էվոլուցիա» հաղորդման եթերում հայտարարել է ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը:

Հարցին՝ ի՞նչ գործոնների դեպքում և ի՞նչ պարագայում Հայաստանը կարող է  կիրառել «Իսկանդեր» համակարգերը, նախագահ Սարգսյանը պատասխանել է. «Անհրաժեշտության պարագայում: Մի մոռացեք, որ մեր հարցազրույցը դիտում են ոչ միայն Հայաստանի Հանրապետության քաղաքացիները: Դուք ինձ պարտադրում եք պատասխանել հարցի, որի պատասխանն ունենալու համար բազմաթիվ հատուկ ծառայություններ հսկայական ռեսուրսներ են ծախսում: Իսկ ով կարծում է, որ «Իսկանդերը» զուտ բարոյական կամ հոգեբանական նշանակություն ունի, նա չի էլ հասկանում՝ ինչ է «Իսկանդերը»: Երբ իմանա, կհասկանա՝ ինչ կործանարար ուժ ունի այդ զենքը:

Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը անդրադարձել է նաև մարտական դիրքեր կատարած իր այցելությանը: Նա նշել է, որ փայլուն սպաներ, զինվորներ ունենք, ովքեր գիտեն իրենց գործը:

«Որևէ մեկը կարո՞ղ է ասել, որ մեր բանակը զարգացում չի ապրել: Կարո՞ղ է ասել, որ այսօրվա մեր սպաները իրենց գրագիտության մակարդակով էապես չեն տարբերվում այն սպաներից, որոնք ծառայում  էին քսան տարի առաջ, և՛ քանակական առում, և՛ որակական առումով: Ես հենց նոր գալիս եմ մարտական դիրքերից, փայլուն սպաներ են, զինվորներ, ովքեր գիտեն իրենց գործը»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ  հայտարարել է ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը:

Խոսելով ազգ-բանակ գաղափարախոսության մասին՝  նախագահը նշել է. «Մենք  քիչ ենք թվաքանակով, եթե ուզում ենք, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը և Հայաստանը լինեն ապահով և անվտանգ, անհրաժեշտության պահին յուրաքանչյուր հայ՝ անկախ սեռից պետք է դառնա բանակի զինվոր: Երբ այդ պահը գալիս է, ազգը դառնում է բանակ: Խաղաղ ժամանակ բանակը մասնակցում է նաև հայրենիքի զարգացման գործին: Շատ պարզ տրամաբանություն է: Մենք ուզում ենք այս բնագավառում հասնել առավելագույնի: Մենք ուզում ենք, որ ռազմահայրենասիրական դաստիրակությունը կարևորվի: Ուզում ենք որպեսզի մանր-մունր դեպքերը չշահարկվեն և ստվեր չգցեն մեր զինված ուժերի վրա: Մենք չենք ցանկանում, որպեսզի հազարավոր բարեխիղճ, հայրենիքին նվիրված սպաների կողքին, երբ լինում է մի «շառլատան», այդ «շառլատանը» ներկայացվի որպես բանակը մարմնավորող կերպար»:
