Եթե տարածքային ամբողջականությունն ավելի կարևոր է, քան ինքնորոշման իրավունքը, Լատվիան ինչպե՞ս առանձնացավ ԽՍՀՄ-ից. Շարմազանովը՝ լատվիացի գործընկներին

ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը լատվիացի գործընկերներին կոչ է անում վերջ տալ երկակի ստանդարտներին և Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության հարցում պաշտպանել Եվրոպական միության պաշտոնական դիրքորոշումը:

ՀՀԿ գործադիր մարմնի նիստից հետո լրագրողների հետ զրույցում անդրադառնալով Լատվիայի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահների ստորագրած ռազմավարական  համագործակցության հռչակագրին՝ Շարմազանովն ընդգծեց. «Տարօրինակ է և զավետալի, որ ԵՄ անդամ երկիրը, որը հանդիսանում է Լատվիան, ռազմավարական հռչակագիր է ստորագրում մի պետության հետ, որը մարդու իրավունքների խախտման ամենաակնառու օրինակ է մեր տարածաշրջանում, որը մի երկիր է, ով գնում է ավտորիտարիզմի ճանապարհով, որտեղ կառուցվում է սուլթանատ, որտեղ ոչ ավել, ոչ պակաս նախագահն իր տիկնոջը նշանակում է առաջին փոխանախագահ:

Սա տարակուսելի է, որովհետև ԵՄ-ն գոնե ինձ համար մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության և ժողովրդավարական արժեքների մարմնավորումն է, և զարմանալի է, որ այդ արժեքները դավանող երկիրը կնքում է նման հռչակագիր ավտորիտար, ոչ ժողովրդավարական պետության հետ»:

ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահի խոսքով, ավելի զավեշտալի է Լատվիայի խորհրդարանի նախագահի հայտարարությունները, ըստ որոնց՝ ԼՂ խնդիրը պետք է լուծվի Ադրբեջանի տարածքային ամբողջականության շրջանակում:

«Նախ այդ հայտարարությունը հակասում է ԵՄ-ի պաշտոնական հայտարարությանը: ԵՄ ներկայացուցիչները մեկ անգամ չէ որ հայտարարել են՝ խնդիրը պետք է լուծվի ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների ձևաչափով, երեք հավասարազոր սկզբունքների հիման վրա, որտեղ ինքնորոշման իրավունքն ունի շատ լուրջ դերակատարում և այստեղ ինքնորոշման իրավունքի մերժումն անթույլատրելի է»,- շեշտեց Շարմազանովը՝ ավելացնելով. «Ամենակարևորը, որ ցանկանում եմ ասել իմ լատվիացի գործընկերներին. եթե տարածքային ամբողջականությունն ավելի կարևոր է, քան ինքնորոշման իրավունքը՝ դուք ինչպե՞ս առանձանացաք ԽՍՀՄ-ից:

Եթե ինքնորոշման իրավունքը չէր գործում, ապա այդ ինչպե՞ս Լատվիան անկախացավ: Լատվիացիներին կարելի է, իսկ Արցախի ժողովրդին՝ ո՞չ: Ինքնորոշման իրավունքը պետք է գործի և Լատվիայում, և Լիտվայում, և ԵՄ-ում, և առաջին հերթին Արցախում: Մենք պետք է վերջ տանք երկակի ստանդարտներին»:

Որպես Հայաստան-Լատվիա բարեկամական խմբի ղեկավար՝ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը իր լատվիացի գործընկերներին հուշեց, որ ինքնորոշման իրավունքը եթե չգործեր, ապա այսօր Լատվիան անկախ չէր լինի:

«Դրա համար նրանք պետք է պաշտպանեն ԵՄ պաշտոնական դիրքորոշումը: Արցախի ժողովրդի ինքնորշման իրավունքը վերջնական սկզբունք է»,- ընդգծեց ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահը:
