Առնվազն մեկ պաղեստինցի է զոհվել, ավելի քան 30-ը վիրավորվել են Երուսաղեմում, որտեղ բողոքի ակցիաներ են սկսվել Իսրայելի կողմից քաղաքի ամենակարևոր կրոնական սրբավայրերից մեկի՝ Տաճարի լեռան վրա սահմանված անվտանգության նոր միջոցների դեմ: Այդ մասին ահյտնում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ն՝ վկայակոչելով պաղեստինական «Կարմիր կիսալուսնի» հաղորդագրությունը:

Արաբները զանգվածային աղոթքներ են կազմակերպել Երուսաղեմի փողոցներում՝ հրաժարվելով Տաճարի լեռան մզկիթների մոտ բարձրանալ անվտանգության նկատառումներով տեղադրված մետաղական դետեկտորների միջով և Որոշ հատվածներում բախումներ են սկսվել Իսրայելի ոստիկանության հետ:

Ավելի վաղ հաղորդվել է, որ իրավապահ մարմինների աշխատակիցները հատուկ միջոցներ են կիրառել իրենց ուղղությամբ քարեր նետող ցուցարարների դեմ: Ցուցարարներին ցրելու գործում ներգրավվել է հեծյալ ոստիկանությունը, ինչպես նաև գործածվել են ջրցան մեքենաներ:
