Ամերիկյան American Greens Inc. ընկերությունը, որը մասնագիտացած է մարիխուանայից արտադրանքներ արտադրելու գծով, 5 մլն դոլարով քաղաք է գնել Կալիֆորնիա նահանգում։ Նիպտոն փոքր քաղաքը նախատեսված է վերածել «զբոսաշրջիկների համար գրավիչ օբյեկտի», գրում է Bloomberg-ը։

Նիպտոնը գտնվում է անապատային տեղանքում, «Մոխավե» ազգային արգելոցի հարևանությամբ, այն գտնվում է Լաս Վեգասից 1 ժամ հեռավորության վրա։ 1905 թվականին հիմնվելով որպես ոսկի փնտրողների բնակատեղի՝ այն այժմ դատարկ է։ Նշվում է, որ քաղաքում ապրում է մոտ 20 մարդ։

Գնումը ներառում է 120 ակր հողատարածք, խանութ, հյուրանոց, դպրոց։ Այնտեղ նախատեսվում է կառուցել նոր շինություններ, իսկ էներգիա ստանալ վերականգնվող աղբյուրներից։ Ընկերությունը մտադիր է մարիխուանայից պատրաստված ուտելի մթերքների՝ մաստակի, կոնֆետների և այլն, արտադրություն սկսել, խանութներ բացել։

Նախագծի հեղինակ Սթիվեն Շերինենն ասել է Bloomberg-ին, որ այսկերպ ընկերությունը մտադիր է նպաստել քաղաքի զարգացմանը։

«Ոսկու տենդը» կառուցել է այս քաղաքը, «կանաչ» տենդը կարող է ստիպել նրան զարգանալ»,- ասել է նա։

Կալիֆորնիայում մարիխուանան օրինականացվել է 2016 թվականին։
