ԱՄՆ Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի հանրապետական անդամ Դեյվիդ Վալադոն կարևորում է Արցախում ականազերծման աշխատանքների շարունակականությունը:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ԱՄՆ Հայ դատի հանձնախմբից, այս մասին կոնգրեսական Վալադոն նշել է հանձնախմբի ներկայացուցիչների հետ ունեցած հանդիպման ժամանակ:

«Կարևորում եմ ԱՄՆ Հայ դատի հանձնախմբի հետ գործընկերությունն այս կարևորագույն նախաձեռնության շուրջ, որն ուղղված է կյանքեր փրկելուն ու խաղաղություն կառուցելուն: Ականազերծումը կյանքեր է փրկում, կանխարգելում է կյանքեր խեղող վիրավորումներից, ինչպես նաև տնտեսական հնարավորություններ է ստեղծում գյուղատնտեսությամբ զբաղվող ընտանիքների համար, ովքեր այժմ կարող են ականների հետ կապված սպառնալիքներից վախեր չունենալ»,- ընդգծել է Կալիֆորնիան ներկայացնող հանրապետական կոնգրեսականը:

Դեյվիդ Վալադոն շեշտել է նաև, որ այդ գործունեությունը երկարաժամկետ առումով պայմաններ է ստեղծում Արցախի և Ադրբեջանի միջև խաղաղ բանակցությունների համար:

Հայ դատի հանձնախմբի ներկայացուցիչ Սևակ Թաթեոսյանն էլ շնորհակալություն է հայտնել կոնգրեսականին այս կարևոր հարցում առաջնորդություն ցուցաբերելու համար:

Վալադոն ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսի հատկացումների հանձնաժողովի անդամ է: Նա ներկայացնում է Կալիֆորնիայի 21-րդ ընտրատարածքը, որն ընդգրկում է Սան Խուակինի հովիտը, որտեղ հազարավոր հայեր են բնակվում:
