«Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման կողմից 2014թ.-ին իրաքյան Շենգալում առևանգված 12-ամյա եզդի Ամադ Միշո Թամոն տարիներ անց միավորվել է իր ընտանիքի հետ` Կանադայում: 

Ինչպես գրում է t24.com.tr կայքը, փոքրիկ Թամոյին ահաբեկիչներն առևանգել էին երեք տարի առաջ՝ Շենգալում եզդիների կոտորածի օրերին: Տարիներ շարունակ ԻՊ զինյալների ձեռքում որպես պատանդ մնացած տղային ավելի ուշ փրկել են իրաքյան բանակի ուժայինները, որոնք էլ երեխայի ընտանիքին գտնելու համար համացանցում տարածել են նրա լուսանկարը:

Երջանիկ պատահականությամբ Թամոյի լուսանկարին կայքերից մեկում հանդիպած նրա հորեղբայրը միանգամից լուր է ուղարկել տղայի մայրիկին՝ ով Շենգալի կոտորածից հետո իր 6 երեխաներից 4-ի հետ կարողացել էր փախչել Իրաքից ու հասնել Կանադա:

Կտտանքների հետևանքով առողջական խնդիրներ ձեռք բերած 12-ամյա տղան բժշկական օգնություն է ստացել իրաքյան Մոսուլի հիվանդանոցներից մեկում՝ հորեղբոր աջակցությամբ: Ավելի ուշ Կանադայում գտնվող եզդիական Մանիտոբա և Իրաքցի եզդի ու քրիստոնյա երեխաների օգնության միության ջանքերով Թամոն, ի վերջո, տարիների գերությունից հետո, Կանադայում հանդիպել է մայրիկին:
