ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի նախագահ Արա Բաբլոյանը ցավակցական ուղերձ է հղել մեծանուն գրող, հրապարակախոս եւ թարգմանիչ, մշակույթի վաստակավոր գործիչ Պերճ Զեյթունցյանի մահվան կապակցությամբ: Ինչպես տեղեկանում ենք ՀՀ ԱԺ հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ուղերձում  ասվում է.

«Խոր ցավով տեղեկացա մեծանուն գրող, հրապարակախոս եւ թարգմանիչ, մշակույթի վաստակավոր գործիչ Պերճ Զեյթունցյանի մահվան մասին, ում ստեղծագործությունը մեր գրական-մշակութային գանձարանի անբաժանելի մասն է: 
Նա ստեղծեց գրականություն, որը երբեւէ ժամանակ չճանաչեց:
 Նա ստեղծեց հրապարակախոսություն, որն իր թեմատիկայով արդիական էր ցանկացած ժամանակի մեջ: Նրա թարգմանությամբ գրականությունը հաղթահարեց բոլոր սահմանները: 
Նա կամուրջ էր արվեստի եւ հասարակության, քաղաքացու, մտավորականի եւ մշակույթի միջեւ: Պերճ Զեյթունցյանն այլեւս մեզ հետ չէ, բայց մեզ հետ են նրա գրականությունը եւ բարի հիշողությունը տաղանդավոր գրողի, իսկական հայրենասերի ու քաղաքացու մասին: 
Ցավակցում եմ Պերճ Զեյթունցյանի ընտանիքին, հարազատներին, նրա գրչի երկրպագուներին եւ կիսում նրանց վիշտը»:
